The small sanitizers are now 5 for $8 so 5 oz for 8 bucks but I got a huge 32 oz bottle of sanitizer for $5! So I am going to take the small b&bw containers and refill them. Thanks for this video!! 😊

And that's exactly what I just did lol. Office Max had a huge sale on the gallon jugs of hand sanitizer for like $3. It took some doing to pop the top off and it went flying across the room, but I got it!
i love this!!! im not allowed to have scented sanitizers at work but i love my pocketbac holder this was perfect fill one of the bottles with just basic hand sanitizer!!

I worked in a microbiology lab, and you don't want to get below 70% alcohol in the final mix. So I wouldn't add a significant amount of water-based fragrance. But now I can refill the Bath and Bodyworks Pocketbac that has a jelly holder. Thanks!

I recently switched to smaller handbags. I found that my travel size sanitizer was still too big so I bought a mini Bath & Body Works and I love the size. I wanted to refill the “Bye Felicia” bottle because that’s my middle name and thought I’d take a look on YT and “voila”! If you can think of it- someone has probably done a video !

This video was very helpful. I love the pocket sanitizer holders but strong smells give me a headache. A friend gave me an empty bottle and I'm going to refill it with unscented.
They should just make a long-use refillable container in the pocketbac shape and sell refill bottles. I adore the sanitizer they sell, but I can't really keep getting new pocketbacs in any way that isn't wasteful and unsustainable, hunks of plastic I'm forced to throw away every time? No thanks.
Marketing wise I don't think so... People could be cheap and just refill them with any sanitizer -- and they might want to avoid doing that because you have a diff sanitizer on a bbw bottle. If anything happens like skin irritation etc, the blame is going to be on bbw because of the packaging.

I'm no biochemist but seems there's some science happening here...
they have to be CDC guidelines not hating, just trying to be safe...
cuz I did this back when the closure started cuz I couldn't find Cactus blossom and I'm addicted 😅
it was watery and I wasn't sure what chemical changes took place LoL
The fine fragrance mist are mostly alcohol and fragrance so you should be fine. Also, the hand sanitizer needs some time to cure the fragrance in it so at first it will smell like alcohol but about a few days later, the fragrance will become more prominent. As far as the watery bit goes, add a bit more gel or hand sanitizer to it to help the consistency, but it should not affect the anti-bacterial effects since the fine fragrance mists are hermetically sealed and cannot be unscrewed open.
Commercial micro labs require 70% alcohol minimum, and the big bottle I got during the height of the pandemic is only 62.5% alcohol, so I'm not going to add fragrance. The alcohol content does matter.

They make it impossible to open so that you keep buying them. HA! I will not. I have large bottles of sanitizer from the sanitizer- mania during the pandemic. I’ll refill it with those.

I HATE glitter in my hand sanitizer! If you wear contacts and touch your eye, the sparkles transfer! It only took once to realize my hatred for glitter sanitizer!

I came to RUclips this morning just to see if anyone else has thought of doing this. I thought of it as well the other day! I sprayed a thousand wishes into my aloe vera hand sanitizer, but after 24 hours my hand sanitizer was full of white globby stuff??? Can anyone tell me what that might be?? Thanks!

So I end coming here out of curiosity jajjaja I went to Abercrombie and had some of their hand sanitizer which smelled amazing!!!!!! Thought I can do that so I did a RUclips search. But after watching this I was wait. Isn’t it better to just put the hand sanitizer first to kill the germs and then add the body spray in your hands with 2 pump 😏 jeje . Just saying.
