How to Refill Touchland Power Mist Hand Sanitizer Spray in under 3 minutes (2023)

- I love the Touchland Power Mist Hand Sanitizer! Their containers are cute but found the solution would run out quickly, leaving me constantly with a lot of excessive waste (the container, plus all its plastic wrapping).
I was also frustrated they did not design their product to be refillable. In this video, I will show you in under 3 minutes how to refill the container with any sanitizing solution of your choice. I am working on some solution recipes and will post those at a later date.

You’re so very welcome! The packaging imo is so wasteful - between not being refillable and all the plastic bags. I think they would still sell well if they got rid of the plastic bags and remodeled it to be refillable.
Otherwise these all head to the landfill which is why I made the video!

For colored sanitizer you can use bath and body works spray 😊
you can take the spring out. Just make sure it goes:
1. clear round ball
2.spring with the end bent like a 1/2 circle
3. the cap end has to be on the part of the spring that is completely round.
i’m just did mines and i took the spring out because it kept over flowing with the clear little ball they put inside. if you loose that clear little ball the mechanism won’t work.

YOU LITERALLY JUST SAVED MY TOUCHLAND ILYSM!! I DUMPED THE SPRING IN A BOWL AND DIDNT REALIZE THERE WAS A BALL BECAUSE IT WAS IN THE BOWL WITH THE STUFF I WAS USING TO REFILL AND NOW IT WORKS!!! I ALMOST DUMPED THE BOWL BUT DECIDED TO LOOK ON RUclips ONE LAST TIME

Nice MacGuyver😂I really adore the design of this thing but hmmm seems silly to go through all this...how many additional refills are possible...the mechanism of bottle will be weakened/compromised?
I have a question what could work to pry it out?
I was able to do everything but when i was using a syringe to put in alcohol into the container, it wouldn't go down the little tube and would just end up overflowing without any of the alcohol going into the container

Make sure you have all your springs! If you do, try putting the button back in again, until you hear a click.

I tried this twice and neither of them work. It didn't have a second spring inside that i could see though
Oh no! The spring May of fallen out when you opened it which happens sometimes, without the springs in place it won’t work sadly :(
@@SofiaCaparas I opened two, and none with a secondary spring. They both had a spring on the 2nd white piece you remove with pliers.

Make sure when you’re putting the button back on that you hear a “click”
I did have a couple that wouldn’t spray - eventually I stopped using the bottles all together and I just refill normal sanitizer spray bottles!
@@SofiaCaparas it’s okay it did click and I followed all of them as directed. I ended up buying another spray hand sanitizer brand that was much cheaper. Thanks for the advice though I really appreciate your videos!

They're not meant to be refilled, the fact that you have to go through all this just to do it should tell you. They sell actual refillable ones that look exactly the same on shein and temu.
