I love this video, I just wish they never changed the packaging. Seems like they caught wind of people finding ways to refill the sprayer and decided to make it even harder.. I bought mine in June and I can confirm that the whole sprayer head is one whole piece now (instead of a flat piece like in the video). I decided to pry mine apart just to see if it was still possible to refill.
For anyone wanting to attempt it:
I ended up prying the white plastic frame off (bent but didn’t break completely). The spray head is now one solid square piece held by two prongs. Once that’s off, you can go in with the pliers and carefully remove the tube piece. Reassembly is simple, just gotta make sure you press the spray head down all the way till you hear a pop, that’s the rubber seal popping in place.
Sadly, I no longer recommend this hand sanitizer anymore. I was solely impressed on its sleekness, but to have to constantly purchase a new one feels like unnecessary plastic waste since it’s only 67% alcohol.

also want to add that yes, there is a possibility of cross contamination while refilling, but the company should come up with a solution where just the liquid container can be swapper out instead of needing to pour new liquid in. Just a thought

I bought the blackpink collab unit and its the same as mentioned above.
However I’m able to refill it by pouring the new solution in slowly and gently squeezing the touchland container. So it sucks the new solution in until its full again. Plus the sprayer lid pops off in one piece now. Takes 5 mins though…

@@AW666 the whole top plunger is one piece now. And there is no way to get it off without breaking it. I used a tiny eye glass screw driver and still couldn't get it I far enough to pop anything out. Buy a new one and see for yourself. They redsigned it

I have a newer bottle and I was still able to make this work. I inserted a cuticle pusher between the spray hole and button. I have one the have a curved side and a straight side. I used the straight side. GENTLY slide it right in the center of the button. There is a line the the stick can use as leverage. It popped right off and I was able to pull the tube thingy out with pliers to refill. Hope it helps

If you squeeze the dip tube too hard that it became flat. Just rotate 90 degrees squeeze again to open back up the dip tube

I would not recommend doing this, sure you save plastic but now you don't get the touchland formula. That's the whole reason I bought it.
