What I love is how precise, articulate, and specific omar is on the records, but live he makes incoherent and jummbled noise, which might upset people but it really contrasts both their skills on stage and in the studio, with their live sets (just like this one) to be all about energy and soul.

    • @fugamantew

I saw them live in 2010, really wasn’t into them anymore bc Pridgen had already left and had never been impressed with their live sets I saw online but I figured might as well go see them anyway. They got about half way through their 3rd song (Roulette Dares) when Omar just stopped playing and walked off stage. Everyone stopped and they didn’t start again for about 20 minutes after they coaxed him back. I always figured he was a lame douche bag just from what I read online but that more than cemented it.
