It's cool to see they've finally grown up enough to appreciate the people who pay to see them live. It takes maturity for them to play "the hits" knowing that most people think their first 3 albums (with Jon Theodore) are their best.

Man, TMV is owning their age. I personally think the ATDI reunion stuff was really boring and paint-by-the-numbers. Antemasque was kind of the same way. I think those reunions/ projects were marred by this really tangible sense of futilely attempting to recapture a former glory, but with this configuration both Omar and Cedric just give off this really special vibe of being old guards and reasserting their influence to a younger crowd. They've stopped trying to play the young person's game of being flashy and showman-like and instead are refocusing their lens on professionally executing these amazing songs with some grace and class. It fucking shows and they look and sound really good by going that route, in my opinion, anyway. It sounds like they are naturally progressing and it rules.
