Do you have any issues with your Mini S? I started to have them with mine, after a few weeks of use - random freezes for 5-10 seconds when the system got completely unresponsive with the only mouse cursor which is still under control (both for Windows 11 which came out of the box and Linux Ubuntu 22.04 I installed to the internal M2 SATA SSD). What is interesting is that it happens sporadically without any link to the load being processed by computer or CPU temperature. I think it's SSD to blame, but didn't have a chance to rule it out - need to boot from USB flash and give it a good long run.
The CPU features the DirectX 12-capable 16 EU UHD Graphics iGPU running at 450 MHz to 750 MHz. The graphics adapter is capable of driving up to 3 displays with resolutions up to 4096x2160@60; it will happily decode HEVC, AVC, VP9, MPEG-2 and other popular video codecs.
Not sure that 35 degrees of Celsius for internal SSD drive is not something that is just hardcoded to be returned by drive. Cheap SSD drives tend to not have temperature sensor at all. Also bot sure 50 degrees od Celsius is good temperature for any external SSD drive to run for extedned time period. How soon will it die only time will tell
Had one for a month. Using it to RDP into the office from the back porch. I've not had any issues. Plus, I got it for about $100. Sweet.
Yea it's a great minipc, I'm using it for Plex and torrents mostly 👍🏻 thanks for the comment 🙏🏻
Just wish they hadn't hobbled the memory. But I guess they had to do it to get the CPU?@@techiesetup31

@alx8439 no issues here, still using it daily for Plex and browsing 😊
@@techiesetup31 thanks for the reply. I think mine is just having faulty SSD or ram. Need to troubleshoot it
What was that , that you added on?
