I feel that not all those serving in the British armed forces don't get enough thanks for their service. From the regular forces to SAS/SBS, I thank them for their service. Hats off to you, Big Phil. Cheers. I'll buy your book one day.
Yeah buy his book, I'm sure nothings dramatised...lol
Just a normal bloke but got a set of skills that the grim reaper won't test.
It takes balls to make it into the SAS. Definitely.
More than that. lol
*iron balls
Braz123Gaming YT a lot more than balls
Good lucrative book writers and story tellers .
Takes balls to join the Army. Hats off to them all!!
You met this guy in a boozer and you wouldn't have a clue. Even when bollocksed he would appear to be nothing more than a Tiger. My gratitude to you and your family. Live long and strong.
These guys that make it through the training process and complete it to become part of the elite in British and U.S military are so secret we the people don't get to show our appreciation of what they do and all soldiers god bless you all...I love the passion you have and respect for your soldiers stay safe people x
People hating in the comments obviously have no idea what it takes to enter the SAS..
Psychopathic? Maybe. Sharp minded, intelligent, super human level fitness both mental and physical, brave? Definately..
As others have said, we sleep safe at night because of these guys.. if you dont appreciate that you must have sub par IQ levels bros, i cant understand the needless hate
Being in the Twennitooz was was quite satisfying, so we don’t require thanks, but we take it if it’s offered. Hope you’re well, mate.
Wu Kong wu you silly arse !
With the knowledge gained, the Government highlight you as Dangerous! Sometimes to adapt to Civvie Life, the Skills sometimes overlap. That's your R.V. Reality Check!
Phil is a Man's Man, with Core Values! He was always ready to have a "Cabby" with anyone on the "Lines" He has a vast knowledge, gained through experience on the "Job". A Man at your side you can depend on. There is no lying in him. His farts smelt the Canopy out that eventually caught the back of your throught, but you would say they smelt of Rose's if having to "Honk" to his face. He was already a senior member at the time.
Good luck to you Phil! And thank you for all the Charity Work you do for us.
Kind regards
From one of Needhams lads.
@Wilbur Wafer I wouldn't send a "Normal" Person to do a Job, when I would feel safer sending a Lion 'Psychopath", to execute something a "Normal " Person is just not willing to do.
We are born for War and Conflict. You are born that way or you're not, and sometimes the system pushes people that way. Like Soldier Ants are naturally born. We are a bread aprt.
It's however sad that we are left on the scrap heap, but wanted if there is a War. We don't "Honk" we adapt and find a way out of the Pen. We play a Grey cover, waiting amongst those we are willing to lay our lives down for. It's our nature and humbled for the true core support the British Public give. We feel, sometimes embarrassed to ask for help, but a Moral Boost to know the British Public are there for us too.
Civvie Street is like a Jungle that we have to learn to adapt to all over again.
From a British Veteran
Right from the start the SAS was formed from oddballs, check out paddy mayne.
Such a beautiful tough man we need more of'em. A man of honor.
all these guys from regiment ,do a lot of charity work and raise a lot for others ,i know a few and its amazing thank you
Amazing warrior! Inspirational and I give the highest respect for the SAS !
Absolutely...yes !Great respect for SAS 🕊️
Yep, murder machines, you certainly want them baby sitting your daughter.
absolute legend. as anyone that serves there country. ex royal engineer. do love his banter but as squaddies know it will save ur life.
SAS best in the world a rare breed of soldier “respect”
Hmmm they do exactly the same training as the SBS at same time except when sas get their beret if the pass out the SBS still has a more gruelling tests to do making it a tougher cadre training course
That was a good interview 👍
Tough bastards , anyone's who puts there body in life threating places takes some balls and bravery
Total respect to you Phil, thank you for your service
Really nice bloke, met him threw me brother, happy days big phill keep going.

Im glad he’s not hiding his face, Hes a legend & good for veterans. I understand other guys want to remain anonymous but i’m glad more of these heroes are starting to use their experience and profile to help veterans. To me they are modest heroes who genuinely want to help people ❤️🇬🇧
Although their motto is "Who dares, wins," I understand the unofficial motto is "Retaliate first."
Derek Wordley who cares who wins
What
"Who dares wins, d'ya know wot I mean?"
Apparently they were on exercise with the U.S navy seals and the sign on their barracks Said “second to none” the sas lads wrote “none” on theirs lol
Great guy Phil is TOP BLOKE
In life it is important to be nice to people on your upward trajectory
For in the case you should slip up, rest assured that the people surrounding you appreciated everything done in a *mutual * way
Big Phil Camps..great fella..
Big Phil's a good bloke.
Respect.
I know someone who was in special forces with him. I asked him what he was like. He said, "Loud". 😂
Men like him are what got us the empire
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Did that empire make it big ?. Can't find it anywhere on Google maps. Round here men like him run out of South Armagh.
they look like any other father, brother, friend... but these men are machines that cant be broken.
Good on ya Phil, am enjoying your book, n thank you for your service especially here in N.I. Out.
Phil has got a Hart of gold absolutely lovely guy..👍🏻
Love this guy so laid back legend from Burnley
A friend of fathers said, you’d never ever guess who was in the SAS because they look like normal guys but they’re a completely different breed.
Dear Phil, May I pass on my congratulations to you and your colleagues for the immensely, valuable and good work you do, currently. Howard Deane Highly Confidential I am a Conservative at Bristol West. Thanks
Very good, apart from when he said blair is a good bloke lol
Class bloke
I served with Phil in N.Ireland and he is a power house of a man and a loyal colleague. I can assure you that he has worked his balls off for many years to be able to do what he does now.
is it true he got chased by a bear lol
Damian Thompson Damian, I know you probably didn't keep in touch when he left the Green Army and transitioned to SF, but what has happened to his health in the subsequent years? I seems like I was out of breath talking and he is seemingly dangerously over weight. There I no such thing as an unjjured soldier, professional trauma encroaches on marriages and personal life. I hope the big lad is okay. Garry H, ex RAF.
Damian Thompson ur another 1. Brittish soilders had no place in lreland. 2 sad he wasnt killed. Rembr warrenpoint narrow water 18 dead. Ye ha 🖕
+Kieran Adams think you fuckers forget that the British army were called in to protect Catholics.

Looking forward to my own copy mate, well done.
Big Phil what a guy crack on mate.

I’ve actually had this guy train me in airsoft
SAS is the best! Absolute low profile! Gets the job done! No fanfare! Definitely leaves the Delta Forces and US Seals grovelling in the dust! Respect for those "Who Dares Wins"

Some people just don’t realise how hard it is to get into the sas... the fail rate alone is 95% and if you don’t believe me you can just search it for yourself. A lot of people can’t even make it out of regular army training never mind sas training.
I didn't know Shaun ryder was in the SAS?
Reminds me of chopper

Thatcher actually by arming someone she couldn't control, including illegal weapons, he committed genocide with.
I thought it was some bloke called Stirling.

Real badasses don't exi-
The main problem for some of the guys is that they were working undercover in Northern Ireland. Andy McNab for instance has stated that because of the work he did over there he could never publicly show his face in case some of his old contact's saw him. The ones who are willing to show their face generally haven't done that much undercover work over in Ireland

What is “the circuit” in the sense that he uses it?
Private security, pays very big for ex service men
@@stickstu2866 not as big as you think these days even for ex regiment guys risk v reward vpoor nowadays
@@trident1314 why do you belive that?
I don't get why the armed forces get so much shit. All they do is fight the wars WE send them to. The only thing they ask of us, is that when WE, the Nation unleash them. WE make it worthwhile. I'm for one are forever thankful that we have great Men and Women ready to defend our sorry ungrateful arses with there lives. Amen.
@ADAM STEELE If they were stuck in the Iranian Embassy with gunmen pointing their weapons at them , or sitting with their families in a plane in the desert after flying a few days around the M.E.with an inside temperature of 60° plus a few Palestinian "freedom" fighters, they'd be very happy I think to know an SAS or GSG9 existed. These 2 cases were rescues of hostages. They were not fighting any war.
You must not believe all those books and films that were made especially for little boys.
Become politically instead. Then you will understand that our peace here is war for others. And ugly terror is the answer to our lifestyle.
seems like a great guy! enough said!
How can you be proud of shaking Blairs hand.
I switched off at the Tony Blair photo...
it's PR mate he wants to make a bit of money and live easy whilst he still can

The presenter bless her has absolutely no idea of whom she is talking to
Hero
TB is okay?
Fair play to him, he tells it like it is, no mincing about.
Capt. Price gained a few lbs
@N3wtix I agree. He is very down to earth!
the argument is I think two things. One they might still have confidential information sensitive to their own and National security. Secondly as you can see he was in places such as Ireland and some former/ active members of things like the IRA would not mind getting rid of SAS members that have been there! whether or not these threats are real enough is another thing but i think it still poses a risk
Looks as if he used to work on the ghost train
dont know the guy but seems like a legend to me! I'd have a beer in a boozer with him, his shout of course ;)
aGoGe2011 no way I would share a table with someone that says; Tony Blair is ok and he’s a good bloke.
And he’s not kidding.
He's just a bit nervous at the beginning and settles into the interview quickly. Lots of amateur psychologists here.
