All the aero tri rigs that have come out in the last few year are just a modern day versions of the early 90's aero bike wars. You finally caught up to the past, been on one of the most aero bikes ever built since 1993.

New subscriber, know it’s an old video. But have you noticed any real speed difference between these and your prior cervelo?

It's tough to say since I never had them both set up at the same time to do head to head testing, but I do have a comparison of 2018 and 2019 70.3 Indian Wells. Of course there are a lot of other factors, but in 2018 I went 25.1mph (2:14:00) on 279w NP vs 2019 where I went 26mph (2:09:23) on 295w NP. I'm fairly certain this works out to a better CdA on the Omni in 2019. I will say I definitely feel faster, but that might be the sponsorship talking :P

@@bensummerdeal9528 thank you for the reply! Very interesting data. I guess I’m a little curious as my bike is close to your cervelo and your new one is a pipe dream for me!

Considering getting the omni. How big is the bento box? Can you easily fit gels and patch kit in there? And how easy is it to get gels out of the box?

It is pretty long, but fairly shallow. I use it exclusively for gels (or chews more specifically) and it works like most other bento boxes. I've never had a bento that isn't at least a little awkward to pull stuff out, but this one is as good as any. A patch kit with some CO2 could definitely fit, but I wouldn't expect to fit an entire tube in there and have room for anything else.
Thankfully it's also very easy to clean as the rubber sleeve comes out with a few easily accessible bolts and is flexible enough to be washed thoroughly.

I can fit 5 or 6 gels in mine. I don't find it difficult to use.

I agree. I’m sure it’s nice to ride, but it’s got to be the ugliest I know of
