This is when poker players had personalities. Nick names. "Kid Poker" "The Mouth" - Interviews with their family, backstories into their lives and poker careers, and lots of awesome banter at the tables between everyone. This is what got me into poker in the early 2000's. Smiles and conversations - it really was entertainment. Todays games are filled with stone faced non talking professional grinders. Not nearly as fun to watch.
