  • In the last few hours of the last day after these aoudad we finally came across a nice group. After stalking and making multiple attempts we finally,y caught up too them. There was only one big mature aoudad in this group. I knew I had to be patient and wait for him to step out. The final stalk on them he was standing perfectly broadside and I dropped him in his tracks. We took him back cleaned him up and I made some amazing meat roll ups out of his backstop using pepperoni and pepper jack cheese. I hope you all enjoyed this video!

For tough or lean meats if you brine them for a while even an hour or two it helps to keep them from drying out while you cook them, it also helps tenderize too.

Another great video and they looked amazing! Glad to see you haven't come down with Leprosy!!! I've never made anything like this with red meat, but I've done similar roll-ups with chicken breast, pounded thin, sprinkled with parmesan, some mozzarella, mushrooms and asparagus rolled the outside in bread crumbs and then rolled 'em up. Very, very yummy, but you are right you do need the toothpicks. One time, my daughter (then about 14 or 15yo) decided to make them and they looked amazing. Only issue was she used mint toothpicks 🤣😂. Wasn't my favourite! It was like she'd spread a thin layer of toothpaste inside of it too, haha! Otherwise though, I highly recommend doing it with unflavoured toothpicks! Heather🇨🇦

Use a cast iron or steel pan to tenderuze your meat. A little more heft to your mallet. Also put a few drops of water on the meat under the plastic. Cooking lower and slower will also release the cologne that holds the meat fibers together it dissolves at like 195 ish.

If you take a pineapple skin and all. Throw it in a blender and use it to marinate your meat. Submerge the meat completely for a few hours. Then rinse it off real good. Its a perfect tenderizer for any kind of meat. Eat good.

Just from my view, the way you rolled it up, and the direction you cut it was with the grain instead of against. That will make any meat chewy! Just from what I saw. Love your videos man! EAT GOOD!

  • @tylerhoss4393

I suggest getting one of those meat tenderizers with the tiny blades that puncture the meat. They work great. Then throw in a gallon baggie with your favorite marinade for how ever long you like. I prefer just plain old zesty italian dressing for a marinade on meat like that. I'm fixing to marinade some chicken breasts for fajitas then I'm going to Eat Good!

You need a "High Steaks Roller", it's a stainless steel meat tenderizer roller. I got mine online through Walmart. They're like $70 but it will last forever. I also season the meat before I use it so it pushes the seasonings into the meat. It works great. #Eatgood

I wonder if anyone does the pineapple juice trick on game meat? I know tough steaks you can blend a whole pineapple (skin and all), then cover your meat completely in the blended pineapple (in a container in the fridge) the enzymes soften the meat in a few hours, you then rinse it off completely, then season and cook it as per normal. I wonder how well that would work on the tougher cuts!?

You might put a nice slice in the meat in a few places and put ya some garlic cloves in there with some taters carrots around it in a pan in the oven with some water bout two or 3 cups let cook a couple hrs if you want put some onions and bell peppers in too.
