    I tested the vehicle and came away with an extremely positive impression. All materials were not gaudy and were authentic. Soft touch plastics, real wood accents, and real metal surfaces. I'm over 6'2" feet tall and the head room was impeccable. The Lyriq is a show stopper. This Cadillac is second to none in the electric vehicle market! The ride felt absolutely composed compared to other electric models.
    Undoubtedly a winner of true sophisticated and precise engineering.

    Great review. Very in depth, like none other! I had a deposit on a lyric. I ended up just leasing mine off of the lot. The wait was insane to purchase from my deposit . I purchased the Celestial Metallic AWD Sport Level 1. I’m in love with my car! Most features are the same as the ‘23. With the exception of some menu options in the dash and the door hands that light up and eject.

    Spectacular review. I have watched 20-25 reviews on the Lyric by the BIG RUclipsrs and the smaller, and I learned AT LEAST 8 things in your review that absolutely no one else addressed. Wonderful detail, greetings from Longmont.

    Your expression during the launch test was hilarious!! You can really feel the power of the car during that part. I watched this before I ended up with an AWD a couple of days ago, and it made me want one soooo bad! I never in a million years thought I’d end up with one, but the stars aligned and it happened! It’s an amazing car!! I’m still in disbelief! Lol thanks for the video!

    Absolutely enjoyed you and this review. This is one of the best reviews of this model from Cadillac to date. There’s a channel that used to give detailed reviews like this but they seem to only care about Japanese and Korean makes before they’ll do all of their homework. This was refreshing to see the Lyriq receive the attention to details it actually deserves. This vehicle is Mercedes EQS levels of luxury and Rolls Royce levels of comfort for the price of a Hyundai Ioniq 5. 🤯
    I can’t wait to return and watch your Cadillac Celestiq and Escalade _IQ_ reviews! Thanks handsome. Don’t stop what you’re doing, this channel will be big for sure!

    Nice Review. I have a 2024 Cadillac Lyriq RWD Crystal White Tri-Coat Ext, Sky Cool Gray Int, 22 Inch Rims with the Sun Roof and puddle lamps finally entered into the system. I had a 2023 on order, but I was one of those who Cadillac asked to convert to the 2024. There is some issue going on with the 19.2kw charger. You can’t get in on any 2024 models (at least not yet), so I opted in for the 11.5kw charger to speed up my order process. It should be here in 45 days. I will let you know when I have taken possession of it.

    This is the way a person should review a vehicle; such as the Lyric. Done with consistent positive reviews, and done professionally. Some content reviewers, review every vehicle based on their (personal biases). That is not good. This reviewer looks at (each) vehicle on an individual basis. ("Thank you"). This is my first time seeing this reviewer, and I will continue to watch him. Lastly, this person looks at the new or strong points of a.vehicle and.i.never heard him.(BASH) a vehicle on this review, he just pointed out the highlights and gave some insight.
    I just watched a person (dog) a vehicle, and he started off by saying, "I was not called out to see this, vehicle as part of the (PRESS CORE), something that had "press"!!! I know why now they did not invite him to.watch anymore of their vehicle line-up. It is because he is rude, period. This reviewer is (PROFESSIONAL)

    Just finished watching your video and absolutely enjoyed it. One of the better reviews I've seen about the Lyric. This may sound like a weird question, but how tall are you? I ask because the hood of the Lyric looks extremely high when you're standing next to it. It far surpasses your waist in terms of height. Overall, the Lyric looks very stately. The way Cadillac decided to push out the wheel base as far as they did makes the Lyric look solidly planted. Thanks for a great review of the Lyric!

    Wow! Phenomenal in depth review. How does music sound through the AKG sound system? I've heard it does not compare to the Escalade. I'm hoping Cadillac sets themselves apart with superior sound systems for music and podcasts. Excellent review!

    • @ivgarage
      @ivgarage  Год назад +2

      Thank you! It has a great and clear sounds system with a great surround feature as well. But does not have nearly as much bass as the Escalade. Definitely not bad, but if you like a lot of bass, the Escalade is a bit better

    Although we will not see this in the UK, to me it lacks any unique Cadillac design language. Cadillacs were briefly officially on sale here, and also I have driven them in the U.S, and whilst the quality wasn't quite there, they always had a special look. Also given the crummy roads we have, it would be interesting to see how it would ride and handle.
    One thing though, in terms of value for money, it has the competition beaten.
    Finally, a very detailed review!

    How is it compared to something like x5, x7, gle, gls, s class, eqs suv, bmw ix, Range Rover, in terms of ride , comfort, nvh, quietness, which is more similar to the lyriq?

    • @ivgarage
      @ivgarage  Год назад +5

      Most of those oddly enough I haven't yet driven. Definitely rides nice enough to compare to a Range Rover. I did get to drive a Bentley Continental Flying Spur and I would say it's on levels of that. Nearly no NVH, you don't necessarily hear any road noise until you start hitting like 70+, but even then not too noticable. Only noise you hear at slow speeds is its own humming noise it makes to alert people around. Seats are beyond comfortable. Like La-Z-Boy status in the car

    • @zacharymbradleyjr

      Ooooh, great question! I've wondered about the sound system. My murano has a Bose system and it hits shockingly hard. I wonder if the AKG in the Lyric hits equally as hard. I didn't have to add subwoofers and amps like I did with my Maxima. I'm serious about my music. I wonder if it's possible to add a subwoofer inconspicuously in the Lyric, being it's an electric vehicle? 🤔

    • @G-Rated
      @G-Rated Год назад +3

      @@zacharymbradleyjrthere’s no need for adding to the audio system. The AKG sounds pristine, it’s the equivalent to the base system in the Cadillac Escalade. Just doesn’t hit as hard as the upgraded studio reference surround sound system in the Escalade. This 19 speaker AKG sound system sounds better than any Bose system I’ve heard and I love the Bose system in my impala which also hits impressively hard.

      @G-Rated thank you so much for setting the record straight! I am so excited about this car and can't wait for the day when I take delivery, whenever that time comes. I feel it's definitely worth the wait. I think I saw Tidal being used, which is my preferred choice of music streaming service. With Tidals Master Quality streaming and Cadillacs AKG sound system, I feel I'm going to be Über Happy!😊

      Yeah our dealership got one for a customer, but it has to stay in our loan car service for a minimum of 6 months. 0-60 isn't bad. If I had to guess, around 4 seconds. But I'll do one tomorrow and see what happens.

    Cadillac's deep connection to art and music? Umm, ok ... whatever.
    The Lyriq seems ... ok. But at the price they want for it, not first on my list. I'd want GM to be ahead of where they are at this stage of the game.

    • @ivgarage
      @ivgarage  Год назад +4

      Phil Dauchy, GM's head of Global Brand Strategy, said that Cadillac is the most mentioned name in songs. So they wanted a vehicle to represent why people mention Cadillac in songs. I 100% understand where you are coming from. Starting at $60k is still a pretty penny. But you get a lot for what you're spending.
      What is an electric car you would like to see me review that I can try, and I literally mean try, to get my hands on?
