Dude you won't believe me if I tell you I be doing the same today. Just have the head back from the machine shop. I am desperately looking for the harmonic balancer, whoever owns the car before weld the old one. But I guess desperate times calls for desperate measures. Keep up the hard work.
That's awesome! Definitely have to check for everything! Let me know if I can help in any way. I'm trying! Today will be doing more work on the car itself!
looks good g dude ive copper sprayed so many honda single cam head gaskets that's thing should hold all rhe boost no problem cant wait to see this thing rippp
There's a specific sequence for loosening the cam studs and more importantly the head bolts, it's in the bgb. The trd headgasket comes with it's own sealing material (the black coating), really is best to get head and block deck machined. Though I can admit in the past I've used the trd gasket with just using my flat stones to surface them with good results when times pushed to get a engine back running. Hylomar is my favorite coating if I need to use something on a headgasket. My twincharger I run 264 inlet and 272 exhaust for cams. interesting to another engine previously setup with a larger exhaust cam as well. 4ag ftw! All hail the screaming chicken! I actually yell that out at mr2 meets down here in Australia.. hahaha
let's gooo notification gang 💪
I just bought one last summer and I'm working on replacing the head gasket. This video couldn't have come at a better time 😂 thank you
I'm glad it could help! Let me know if you have any questions!
