YES!! I second Puggle.. I am a 40 year old and born and raised in Australia and only recently discovered that Puggles are the name of young Echidna and Platypus. They are both adorable when born and fit the name 100%

Here in the UK, it tends to be the other way round: the shaker with just one hole is for salt, those with two or more are used for pepper, if pepper is wanted. I guess every country has its own way of doing things, even when it comes to salt and pepper pots!
Historically that depends on the culture. Personally I find that salt flows easier from the holes, so salt= fewer holes gives more equal amounts from the shakers. If one container is colored black or white, I would put pepper in black and salt in white despite number of holes. If they have S and/or P letter or Salt/Pepper, that trumps even the colour😁 I have seen a pair of shakers where S was black and P was a white shaker😵💫

Gotta Love a good thrift store find. Friends we met through their thrift store had so many amazing items over the years. I actually redid our den with items I found in their shop. I still have more in storage that I will be using in my art/sewing room. Unfortunately the store didn't survive the last move they made to a larger space that was just adjacent to a gym space they opened. It was off the beaten path and lost the foot traffic that the first two locations had due to being on the main road through town and next to popular stores in the strip malls on either side of the road. That was how I first found them. The last location was once part of a huge church that had other businesses in the other spaces that they didn't use. I had a hard time finding it and I had been told where it was. The store was always cramped and didn't have much space for someone who is disabled to get around to the different spaces that the sellers had so it wasn't a surprise to hear that they were closing it for good because nobody could find it and they lost the foot traffic from the last 2 locations which were on the busiest road in town. I miss it because they had some awesome items in their shop.

I made a stopper for my vintage USSR bird (turkey?) shaker from aluminium foil. About 10 cm2 of foil so 4x4inch, scrunched into a perfect size. It has lasted a dozen refills, but if it breaks it's very cheap and easy to replace right away😊
We had a goat when I was a kid and I remember that the chickens loved riding on his back! My brother and I were so sad though because the goat died young.
We are looking forward to seeing baby goats again. Do you ever add some garlic to your collard greens. I think it would be a great addition to the recipe.
