Just found your channel, 57 ford my dream car always wanted one . But on disability and not able to work anymore it's just a dream now . Enjoyed watching you save it .
Cool old Ford. I keep imagine it painted beige bottom up to the side trim with beige old stock wheels and red top and of course a descent engine and enterior. Nothing hotroder or lowrider. Just descent stock car...
Just ran across your American Pickers episode this weekend. I had it on in the background but as soon as I heard that voice, I knew it was Mr. Goodpliers. It was great to get some background on your entry into the hobby.
@@cj8172 I think it was season 18, don’t remember the episode #. The history channel plays multiple episodes on the weekends , that’s how I watched it.
Love watching the old car retrieve episodes, but I just wish you all had microphones, so we can hear all your commentary, keep up the great Vlogs, ❤️🦘🦘🦘
Great Video , your brother is an animal , strength seemingly unequalled this day with couch potatoes like myself ! Truly a blessing to watch people just hanging out and chit chatting like not a care in the world ! Seriously I imagine most of your viewers could do the same , it's as if I'm there listening to that property owner tell stories while sitting here in my own comfort zone . I've got an old car in my garage that I purchased but like your shows the younger man in me would have much rather drug it out of the woods and built it myself ! Keep doing God's work , I believe your videos are truly inspiring ! 👍

One of my first nice cars was a 57 "frog eye" fairlane tudor hardtop with all the goodies from that year. I still love them to this day... kinda surprised that you don't kick most of the rats nests out right there where it came from
You can take a combine and take all the equipment off except the running gear in the cab and make a really nice little enclosed tractor strip it down to the frame and running gear
If you've never seen "Thunder Road" check it out. Robert Mitchum had 2 cars in that movie, a 1950 shoe box Ford with a souped up Flathead and a 57 like the one you're rescuing. It's a classic hillbilly moonshiner movie.
For the rear, you use a big three jaw gear puller. For the front, a three-legged hub puller that mounts to the lug studs. We pick them up at estate sales, auctions, and swap meets, but I have seen them available online, even Amazon and WalMart.com

Is "Kingfisher" a Planet?
That rusty wagon is a Datsun 180B wagon but I think it is called something else in the US? 810?
Ive been down and out for a bit dealing with Covid... 2 family members also got it !
TG&Y was a chain of five and dime stores. They were based in Oklahoma. There's an exhibit on the store's history in Kingfisher.
hope that car is saveable

What will you do with the 57? Just park it in a field with the others?
Sell it whole or part it out. It will live on in other cars surely.
I'd be interested in whole car or parts
Great video.

The burned out car is likely a Datsun 610 or 710
Fairly rust free body from the outside. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
Some early automatic trans had rear pump
Pushin it would build enough pressure inside to lock up a gear to turn engine over so it would start
The garden tractor you found in the shed is a David Bradley first generation from early forties the first generation didn't have the hood
Burnt car is a early 70's Toyota corolla ?
I love the show watching from aust. I got a 1955 olds could you source a couple of bits please. Obviously for a fee. Cheers
Hi! Thanks for stopping by the channel Stuart. Joe has a couple Oldsmobiles from the mid 50s for parts. Send him an email, rustranchkansas@gmail.com
That David Bradley walking tractor with the cultivators is worth about 750 as it sits !
What type of drum puller are you using, I could really use a tool like that!

Details to come in next video...
The older autos had a rear pump that was driven by the driveshaft. It was so you could push start them
first car, the one burned, is that for sale too?
The garden tractor is a David Bradly ...no hood...
Combines are Gleaner model A's. Joe's walk behind garden tractor may be a Bolens.AL B .
Got ticks?
I’d like to come dig for bottles and jars on that property if the owner would allow?
Congratulations another $100 Dollar 4 door junker saved !.
lot of stuff I would take
Dont fear the Reaper. The Gleener maybe, but not the Reeper!
Mazda wagon, early 70's
Dont let jayhawkers on your property...Things will grow legs and walk away.
If that frame isn't rusted out I will be very surprised
So Tim, where the combines are parked, are we to assume that was all farmland?
👍👍
Better watch where you step out there.might find some rusty nails.
Note all th e "papa's recipe" bottles laid around , 100% proof
