Well, I've taken the exams for the 4th time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it. 😥💔
Took my usmle test last week and passed with 280 questions on my first try!! Huge Thanks to Mis ELISABETH HELEN, she is a game changer 😊✨
Really, you'll know her Too? I even thought I was the only one she has helped walk through the fears and falls of usmle Exam, Mrs ELISABETH has brought me out of the trenches and to a better living, I encourage repeat test taker to work with her.
Wow!!!! congrats and thanks for the encouragement words for all the people who have not take the usmle yet. yes, it is a crazy test for sure. I also used Mrs ELISABETH HELEN review material's. - I studied for 1 week and my test shut off at question 220. I cried too when I got my results. PASS
Thanks to my friend that introduce me to her last week. Am happy the way she process her materials and how you will prepare yourself too for your coming exams. Even with the New update That’s coming up soon, She gave me me a clue of how the exam might come up for me and how I need to study Incase I schedule my test any time.

Watching you these last 4 years I could see and feel the hardship you had to endure. All those long nights studying complex material and now you finally made it. It really takes a different mentality to go through med school. You should definitely take a vacation after what you went through.

Rachel! I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your pets, losing a friend and albeit family member so close to you is never easy. On a happier note, I've been watching since the beginning of this crazy; fast paced; never ending; brain exploding; late night studying; exam passing journey of yours! So happy for you to have come this far and have so much further and higher to go! Also wanted to say you seriously look like the actress who played Grace on the last Terminator movie, just saying😎. I’m so sorry about Lilly. It was beautiful to see you remember her so fondly and love her so much. I think when you are with them till the end and give them a good and happy life there’s nothing more they could have wanted and nothing better for you to remember. On other topics, I like how you straightened the tinsel and I agree that this has always been the path you were meant to be on (I mean OBGYN not tinsel straightening) and you’ve done alot more than shout into the void, all your efforts have exploded into reality. In a quiet way your shout is beyond atomic. It’s always hard to see how things are coming together but when everything suddenly does and it’s your dream I can’t imagine the feeling, but you’ve been holding up the world around you like Atlas, not even just your own world. It’s not surprising that all pays off or that it will continue to. It’s great to see that happening. I’m forever grateful that you continue to share all this to inspire all of us and keep us all holding up our worlds.
Oh and a little sidenote about merch. I’m a big fan of zip up hoodies so if you ever put out one of those I’m on that one hard.

Dude we studied together on zoom and i watched u since u were first year. Bro the years went by crazy fast. I’ve always wanted to study medicine sunce I watched u and worked very hard to achieve that goal. A week or so ago I just realised that I’m not interested in the type of work anymore and I decided on going into medical scientific research rather. Its weird that your “medschool journey” ended the same time I lost my passion for it. Super metaphorical!

All have been exciting but to match with ur 1st choice is not as common as one would think. So congrats u deserve it all. In 2021 I lost all of my childhood pets. My cat in March, my dog in June, and my other cat suddenly got sick and passed away in October. Its so hard to say goodbye to a companion that's been a constant in your life for 15-20 years. ❤❤

Rachel I actually need advice from you. I’m a junior in high school from India. I am really determined to come study medicine in the States after graduating from high school. Can you please shower a few of your opinions (though you may have limited knowledge) for international students? And also I’ve been wanting to ask this…
Over here in my country, the medical entrance exam is more theoretical and more memorization based. As far as I’m aware, the MCAT is more reasoning and logical based. Do you think it’ll be challenging for an individual coming from a completely different Educational Upbringing to get a good enough score for med school? I am just so lost rn but you’ve always been here to motivate me. I was initially gonna reach out to you on IG DMs, but thought this was a better medium. Thank you so much, Rachel ❤️
Hey, I'm Indian-American, so I know how the system varies between the 2 countries. I have family that are doctors in India and in the US and I mentor pre- med students.
Are you coming to America for university? If you are the pre- med program at your college and resources here in the States will help guide you.
Applying to American ( US & Canadian) medical schools involves more than just MCAT scores and grades, but extracurricular activities like volunteering, clinical experience, research, physician shadowing, student leadership, and community involvement.
There's hundreds of different MCAT prep programs.
@@kasa9884 Yes, for now I am focusing on my grades and extra curriculars and I’ll soon give my SAT exam here in India. I’ll try and acquire a scholarship for Pre-med for financial support and after 12th grade I’ll hopefully get into a pre med program.

Medical school takes 4 years to complete, but to become a doctor you'll also spend 3-7 years in residency. (plus 4 years undergraduate before medical school)

Med school first year starts in August. with the usual summer break between the first and second year, which is spent being involved in research projects.
But between second & third year, the summer break is shorter (usually end of May to July 1st/ 1 month)
The third year of medical school runs directly into the fourth year with no break.
And you get off for Thanksgiving (2-4 days)
Christmas (1-2 weeks)
Spring (5-7 days)
I'm so sorry about Lilly..but she is no longer in pain..when the time is right, maybe there will be another four legged baby in your life...
