Bentley is probably my favorite ultra-luxury car brand. The craftsmanship is on par with Rolls Royce but it's a bit more understated in elegance. I am still in mourning for the Mulsanne which they discontinued in 2020.

Love Bentleys, I have a poor person version! I picked up a used 2018 S6 4.0T with a detuned version of this engine for less than a loaded Toyota Sienna a couple years ago. Very sad that the S6 and S7 are no longer offered with the detuned 4.0T.
2014-18 S6’s are such a steal, I bet it’s an awesome daily
@@AdamS32828 Totally, I daily an S4 and keep that one as my “nice car” because air suspensions can be temperamental in the winter and they’re hard to come by.

This is my first time watching your channel ( as it's your first time driving a Bentley) I love your enthusiasm. From the oval lights to the dust in the dash, things you like or dislike have no description or context. Luckily the car speaks for itself- you could speak better about it ❤

For last Gen V8 S you could by the factory sports exhaust for under $2k seperately at most dealers not including labor.
Honestly, a Bentley Continental V-8 Coupe would be my ultimate dream car...over any other brand, or at any price point.
Why would you choose the V8 rather then the W12 ?

I love Bentleys. They are probably my favorite brand for luxury cars. I am not that interested in super cars, but I would buy a Flying Spur in a heartbeat if I had the money. A neighbour of mine has a Continental, and I think he maybe a criminal, but his car is just amazing.

400k and you still have material that exists in a Toyota Camry. I feel like whoever chose to do piano black in a convertible should be fired. I mean, it is the least practical material to place, especially in a car that costs this much. In the sun, it will expose all the micro scratches, smudges, and dust. Really unacceptable in a car that costs this much

There is just something I like with the latest Continental. It's more luxurious than its German counterparts, since it is mostly handmade, leathers are chosen with care, woods are beautifully crafted. It has that Rolls-Royce superiority mixed with that German driving dynamics.
It doesn't have any counterparts from Germany. This car costs twice as much as an 8-Series Cabriolet, and the S-Class Cabriolet went out of production 2 years ago. This car's competition is Rolls, Aston, maybe Ferrari droptops. Not sure why they're asking people to compare this to a BMW or a long discontinued Mercedes S Cabriolet. The new SL is half the money. Of course the Bentley is supposed to be superior.
It also cost like way more so it better have better interior quality

I wouldn't buy a RR even if I were wealthy. But I would most definitely own a Bentley. Most likely the Bentayga.

I think it's because this is a Bentley Continental S so it is a sportier version so it needs to be lighter so that means no nice trim on the interior :( I think you need a normal Continental to have the nice interiors 🌚❤️

Design should give you a sunshade for the info screen im not a fan of the gauges i guess one would use the voice commands but the interments' are vital on dash and its bevels well.

You'd be trading down. An LS500 is nowhere near the being in the league with Continental GT.

I love Lexus. I really do. The LC500 is one of my dream cars. But a Continental GT is in another league my dude.

No power bump in the S trim for this generation vs the previous generation is dissapointing. Old V8s didn't have blacked out wheels.

Thanks for review! Lovely finish on the car EXCEPT the cup holders! I have an S5 cab, and they have the exact same cup holders. They are quite literally the only thing to rattle over time because they are spring loaded holders.
I would have thought for the money Bentley would have upped the no noise game there...
I was quite shocked how many items are taken from the Audi/Lambo side of things. I guess they are all under the same ownership umbrella so cost cutting makes sense. But it sort of felt like the Bentley wasn't competing with the Rolls Royce now?? Still amazing quality and engineering excellence for a BIG luxury cab 👌👍
