This is the new Bentley Continental GT Speed!
It’s had some subtle exterior styling upgrades over the standard Continental GT, as well as Alcantara and aluminium additions made to its interior. But the biggest changes are under the skin.
The GT Speed’s 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine has had its power boosted from 635hp… to 659hp!! This means it can do 0-60mph in just 3.5 seconds - but stick with Mat to see what time it will do in reality! It’s also had a number of chassis tweaks to make it handle as well as it wafts.
But with prices starting from £209,900 😱😱😱 does the GT Speed provide both the luxury and the performance to warrant this hefty price tag? Let’s find out…

"You'll pay for it if you break it..." I hope the actual terms are just that if you are responsible for an accident you will pay for it, rather than "If something structural, mechanical, electrical or electronic fails on this car whilst in your care, it's not a warranty issue, it's YOUR issue." That would be obscene. Bentley design, material and basic fit and finish quality is exceptional, but overall mechanical and especially electrical reliability? It's a risk you never want to take. 🤔
There's a reason why out of warranty Continentals are so affordable to buy.
And cost an arm n a leg to fix n maintain 🤔
@@johneaton25 One of my programmers bought a 2016 GT with the W12: it's a stunning car, amazing to drive, no question. But within 3 months of driving less than 1,500 miles... air suspension at the front was sagging during a road trip. Compressor, shocks, sensors and to top it off there was a steering issue and an electrical issue as well that had to be fixed because of the suspension problem...
A total of US$36,000 in parts and labor...😫😫😫🤮. The killer was they had to remove the entire engine block to get the job done. Even by Bentley standards that was a brutal hit...

No the gt3 is much faster then this car of the line
I love Bentleys. love them for their duality, calm, quiet and comfortable, but with a turn of a dial and the stomp of the right foot, it unleashes its inner beast and humiliates supercars

Quick Question: Why do you brake test some cars from 70mph and some from 60mph?
He does it from 60mph when he is on the British public roads, as that is the national speed limit. Often he is on a private road and here he is in Italy so he can do it from faster.

So probably it's not even 30%, and given how powerful it is, 70% can still be lots of power to the rear in certain situations for the future owner...i know it's not meant to go hard on it but still...
