Simplicity is the greatest sophistication, freedom is attainable to those who are willing to put aside momentary desire. Desiring less allows for life to feel more full, making it feel more full by doing less.

How long did it take you to finally overcome that feeling?

I got the same question twice so I got you. It really depends on how bad your state of over stimulation is. for me it took a few months to totally change my state, but if you really try to focus on it and become present in that feeling you will feel yourself starting to decompress near instantly, depending on how long it takes you to settle into that feeling. Which is the hard part, actually overcoming the cravings so you can settle into that state. So it depends on how bad the addiction was and how long it takes you to settle into not having it.
