- Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is a cruiser bike available in 3 variants and 4 colours. The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is powered by 648cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 46.39 bhp and a torque of 52.3 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Shotgun 650 bike weighs 240 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13.8 liters.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 was launched at a price range of Rs. 3.59 lakh to Rs. 3.73 lakh, ex-showroom. The bike is available in three variants and four colour options.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is a factory custom motorcycle that takes inspiration from the rich and varied community of custom motorcycle builders. The three variants that the Shotgun 650 is available in are - Custom Shed, Custom Pro, and Custom Special.
The Shotgun 650 is offered in four paint schemes - Green Drill, Stencil White, Sheet Metal Grey, and Plasma Blue. Being a Bobber-style motorcycle, it is sold as a single-seater in its stock form, but the company will also offer an accessory pillion seat, which can be converted into a luggage rack, simply by removing it.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is powered by a 648cc, parallel-twin motor that pumps out 46.40bhp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 52.3Nm at 5,650rpm. The oil-cooled engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox, with a slipper clutch.
Coming to its cycle parts, the Shotgun 650 has alloy wheels at both ends, shod with a 100/90-18 cross-ply tyre at the front and a 150/70 R17 radial tyre at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm disc up front and a 300mm disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard.
The suspension tasks will be handled by a Showa separate function, big piston USD fork up front, and Showa twin spring shocks at the back. The Shotgun 650 gets a suspension travel of 120mm at the front and 90mm at the back. Further, it comes with a fuel tank capacity of 13.8 litres and has a kerb weight of 240kg.
The design of the Shotgun 650 is attractive with the fuel tank, side panels, and fenders, along with the low-slung stance of the bike adding to its visual appeal.
While the bike doesn’t have any direct competition, since there is no Bobber-style bike at this price point, the other 650cc option that you can look at is the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.

Finally, a perfect RE 650 with usable seat and logically positioned foot pegs
nice video. 1st video in which shotguns shock absorber are praised otherwise mostly complained about stiff suspensions.
Even I was surprised with that. I felt it much better than supermeteor and at par with Interceptor.

Can i replace the front tyre with 130/90 - 18 inch. Not sure if this is possible. The current front tyre is 100/90-18

An important question sir: is the rear tyre removal possible without removing the exhaust because from the videos it seems that the rear axle cannot be removed without removing exhaust.. same problem existed with older triumph classic motorcycles which were rectified later.. plzz do the needful.

We're planning to go for the best bike under ₹5 lakhs in exchange for our Duke 200 and Classic 350 Reborn as we are planning to keep only one bike as my father commute daily by four-wheeler only majority of the times and already have Vespa VXL which is sufficient for him to commute nearby! The purpose will be the city commute and the long tours as and when required! The bike which can cruise or maintain at least 100-120 kmph all day long and can give decent fuel economy of 30+ kmpl! Also, with good after sales services! I liked Aprilia RS 457 a lot but we don't have an Aprilia showroom in our city! Any other options?? Your suggestion would be helpful for us! Tnx in advance! 🙏

We live in village, 85% road is ok,
we need bike for 50-100 kms riding ( very few times for long ride 300km )
