- Hey guys! Just wanted to introduce u guys to the 03 burb, this is our Performance build! It will have a 7675 turbo installed here in the near future, but first we gotta put in a trans that will handle the whopping 330hp engine first haha, (4l60 joke). I said it wrong many times in the video, but it has a TSP 216/220 cam NOT 216! And a full stainless exhaust, with a black widow venom 300 muffler! Enjoy and stay tuned to see more of this build!

You've for a subscriber for sure. I have a 01 Tahoe. Sitting in my living room is a set of long tubes, a .585 lift cam, some springs, waiting on a 4l80e, and a 3" in 3" out venom 300, it's all going to be put on once and done. I think I might order a 3/4 drop kit and I'm going with a before axle side exit. Same HD setup and same Spyder taillight's.

Got any recommendations for stall size? I'm looking to buy the cam head combo within the next week
Last time I read from tsp, they said with their stage 3 cam 216/220 its recommended to run a 3200-4000 stall

What torque converter do you reccomend for daily driving? Im planning to install this cam and not sure what torque converter for daily driving.
Im doing an ls swap on my 1986 c10 installing a 6.0 & 4l80e trans with the circle d 3200 stall 278mm

Sounds amazing in person is it loud as a straight pipe or it’s quieter because I want one but I kinda wanna make my 5.3 to be a little bit quieter especially with a big cam in stupid california
It wasn’t super loud or anything like straight piped. But it wasn’t quiet either haha
I heard you say you have the 4/5 drop, is it the kit from norcal ss? Tony truck site or something like that I think it's on? If so how was installation? I'm looking into that same drop and kit for my wife's current daily/my future project when she gets a new one soon. Did you run the spohn adjustable track bar? Love the truck man. You sold me on dropping mine and camming it over lifting and 3/4 ton swapping it.
Hoonigan413 yeah sorry I meant 3/5 drop, you can get 4” out of it if you adjust the keys right. It’s actually a McGaughys kit part number 33049. Install wasn’t too bad, fairly simple really.i actually am planning on ordering the Spohn kit soon yes. Thanks man! Appreciate it! what kind of tune do you have to get it to chop like that? whats your idle rpm set at?
Wes Finn it was all tuned at the dyno by a tuner. U can see in the video it’s at around 900-1000 rpm. That is with the AC off. When I turn on the AC it does blip a hair higher just enough for the chop to level out

Mikey Daugherty awesome! Thanks man! Yeah the 4l80 is in but having some issues..the people I got the 4l80 from forgot to install the rear reluctor gear for the speed sensor. So they are taking it back out and installing it and retuning it. It’s taking a while to be honest..but don’t worry once I get it back and it’s up and running I’ll make an update video!

Hunter M you are going to want to contact TSP, and tell them ur goals and setup. They will tell you what’s best for your truck.
The higher the lsa the less choppier it sounds and if u looking for boost or nitrous u need a higher lsa arround a 115 or up
Have you had time to install turbo? How well does it flow through that muffler?
Tim Eriksen haven’t had enough money to install the turbo yet unfortunately.
Does your state have emissions testing? If so how do you get it to pass with the cam?

Did the gear swap make a world of difference? I think I have 3.08 in my Tahoe. Once I install cam I heard gear swap will get that fat butt moving
Ppv Murica it made a good difference, I started with 3.73 so it wasn’t a massive change like urs would be. Haha u would a feel a world of difference from 3.08 haha deff worth it

@@JoshDaaang yeah im having a ton of work done to mine while its out of my c10 the tsp cam comes with push rods so i dont want to order the wrong size =/
Sergeant Scumbag I’m not sure, I did mine a couple years ago, I just bought the cam itself. I’d give TSP a call, tell them your setup and they will recommend you the right pushrods
kinda late but i believe w a low lift, you can use your stock valves & pushrods.

@Josh Daaang yea its a tough one to explain lol. But in the truck world everyone calls it clapping. Basically sounds like a freight train at a certain rpm. It's terrible.
I ended up going with a 300, I'm longtubes single 3 inch no cats so well see how it sounds.

Sage Mata it’s been sitting in a shop in Tampa getting the 4l80 fixed, it will all be explained in an update video here soon. I’m a truck driver so I’m almost never home, haha so whenever I get back home it is back in my possession so I can finally make an update video for you guys!
Josh Daaang. Hello. I’ve got a 03 Yukon with the 5.3,z vin, 706 heads I think, I’m working on mine piece by piece as I’m a trucker too. I’ve ordered a bunch of stuff already because really this thing needed a lot of attention when I bought it. I’ve got a lot done so far. Taillights, halo headlights, led light bars.cold air intake. Now it’s the exhaust system that is really getting a bit expensive but I’m going big on it. Haha. Already have long tube headers waiting for me. I have bought patriot side pipes (corvette style) for this thing. The headers have 1.7/8 tubes to a 3 inch collectors and my side pipes have a 3 inch collectors and the long pipes are 3 inches 65” long. Lol. I’ve got a video of them. Click my pic It’s gonna be loud and sick. Stay safe.
