you should use 1500-1800 melee evasion as sample (normally people with melee evasion will go arround that) and try with your teammates with 1000 hit how many times miss and hit you calculate total dmg coming in compare with your endurance. With endurance build you can easy got all CC and it will kill you easily, you need pocket healer to make this build reliable.
It can't be overstated how OP the passive CC immunity on evasion is. In this game, CC is king. Being able to passively counter CC is the most powerful defensive capability available to players. If there is any way your build can reach 1500+ evasion, there is no world in which evasion isn't so far superiour to endurance that endurance is effectively a dead stat. Until NC removes the passive CC immunity from evasion, evasion is the mandatory defensive stat

Ah yes... let me switch my build using dagger having 2k magic and ranged evasion to endurance and give up a basically 50% (rng applies so not entirely accurate) damage reduction and also probably more importantly a 50% chance of not getting CCd. Sounds so smart!... You trying to mass sell your endurance traits or something? For those who actually care btw: These are the formulas Evasion Chance Formula: Evasion Chance = ((Your Evasion − Enemy Hit) / (Your Evasion − Enemy Hit + 1,000)) × 100 Critical Chance Formula: Crit Chance = ((Your Crit− Enemy Endurance) / (Your Crit − Enemy Endurance + 1,000)) × 100 Using rough averages of common builds: Evasion: ((1900 - 1200) - (1900 - 1200 +1000) x 100 = 41.17 evasion chance (evades all damage and ccs). Using 1900 eva and 1200 hit as those numbers are easy to get with daggers for eva and the hit is easy to get buffed with just about any class. Although youd be surprised how many people actually have less than that..... Crit: ( ( ( 1000 - 900 ) ) ÷ ( 1000 - 900 + 1000 ) ) × 100 = 9.09 chance to crit. As im not all that familiar with the crit and endurance buffs for most classes i used estimates of unbuffed stats. Both of these are pretty easy to get to for most classes again. So you end up with a 9% chance to CRIT. However keep in mind that you STILL DO DAMAGE. You could get close to crit damage even without critting and therefore still do alot of damage. If you compare the two: Evasion benefits: 40% to evade all damage AND CC in the given example. Effectively almost halving the damage you take and potentially evading CCs that will most likely kill you. Endurance benefits: They will only crit you 1/10 times roughly but you can still take alot of damage. Lets be a bit more generous and say that the average person has more hit chance than 1200: ( ( 1900 - 1500 ) ÷ ( 1900 - 1500 + 1000 ) ) × 100 = 28.57 chance to evade. 1500 hit chance is alot more unrealistic for most people, however youre still at a 30% chance to take 0 damage and avoid a CC. Remember guys, dont trust a guy that has trash gear. He has neither evasion nor endurance. He has no defensives outside of a 16k hp pool yet tries to teach you how to build... Come on... The only good thing in this video "If their hit chance is higher than your evasion, your evasion is useless" Yes. Thats correct. You dont stack only 500 evasion tho. I’m a healer Spec’d into endurance. I feel unstoppable in most scenarios. Only problem I’ve come across if because of the gear I’m using my ranged endurance is my weak spot which is a big part of pvp builds
Aren't debuffs stacking now so in PvP your endurance can technically be reduced to 0? I've always ran endurance on my tank and I like it, but now I don't know.
So with my build roughly, I have a 1200 evasion on magic and ranged and dagger and vicious energy because I’m a staff player I have roughly 2.5k magic and ranged me switching to endurance would not make any sense
In this game evasion is king, if you get stunned/pulled/binded/prone your dead and i dont care how much endurance you have, and stop spreading misinformation, you can easily get 1800 melee evasion without sacrificing HP and damage

"Realistically" 1.9k melee evasion means you can't participate on any pvp outside of arena without getting completely 1 shot and perma binded by liberator. Conversly, if you have 1.9k range evasion. You can't go anywhere near a GS or mage. When Realistically, you can build all 3 endurance and get value out of it. But even more Realistically you can stack 2 types of endurance and maintain high hit and be competitive in any form of pvp, that's what I do as an outrider with 17k hp and 1k range and melee endurance and 1.1k range hit and 1.2k melee hit

I'm a sns/dagger tank. Both weapons have evasion passives built in, which can boost my ranged/magic evasion up to 2k with buff and 1k2 - 1k3 evasions without buff. With spear coming out, I'm thinking of doing dagger/spear with ranged/magic evasions. Would you recommend this?

I was building endurance, but even at 800 endurance, Im still getting oneshotted with cc, silence, etc. And I dont feel like it changed from when I had 100 endurance. If im gonna get oneshotted with cc ANYWAYS... then maybe stack evasion so i can at least SOMETIMES survive with 17% chance. But in that case, I may die more to a bit weaker enemies if I dont dodge. Even if you build 1500 evasion, its not like you are going to miss 70% of the time.(assuming they have ~1000 hit) This game is all about CC, oneshot. But again, Idk if Dps building endurance will get you to survive melee CC oneshot combo

the rank 1 pvp in my server is using evasion XD. I say it depends a lot on your class. Endurance is very optimal if you are using a wand or a shield, it is impossible to kill them unless several attack them at the same time. but classes like GS/daggers. staff/daggers. longbow/daggers. They take great advantage of evasion. and reaching almost 3k when they do a skill with dash they have a 50% chance of avoiding attacks like CC that if they put you to sleep or stun you in the middle of a battle those seconds are very crucial in a large scale pvp. If we are realistic, it is very difficult for someone to have more than 1.3k hit probability.
I agree with you, brother. I am a tank with 2383 melee endurance, 2400 ranged endurance, and 1898 magic endurance. I also have 1278 melee evasion. I noticed that it's good to spread edurance and go all out on one type for evasion. I literally can walk in flags uncontested. UPDATE: So now I am at 2893 melee endurance, 3008 ranged endurance, and 2356 magic endurance. and 1383 melee evasion. It's good so far I'd say that the combination of both is good but the down fall of evasion is you can really only choose one evasion type but endurance can be spread agian like I mentioned before. Endurance is king due to that you'll take less critical damage you can build skill damage resistant and heavy attack resistant aswell you'll really only be weak to one or two things. It's a rock paper scissors game, so just be aware and avoid fights when you can. Let your team play around your build as a tank, still working on my runes I got a strat baby can't wait for next siege.
Yes, all of you go endurance so i have easy time cc locking you to death! Jokes aside, 1.5k evasion is not unrealistic, it only requires you to specifically build into that like any other stat. Having more than 1 evasion at that point though is close to impossible if you don't use a dagger (or a crossy but who plays that without daggers). In fact I have 2 builds both of which surpass 1.5k evasion in 2/3 of the damage types. Endurances can easily be stacked to 860 in 2 stats by literally anyone and thus they're an easier build but claiming they're defacto better stats to build is misleading.

My melee eva build is nearing 1.7k without sacrificing any of my stats, and still has a respectable 1.5k ranged evasion. My anti Ranged has 1.9k ranged and 1.6k magic. In both cases i'm on average not being hit by at least 1/3 of the damage, this is at least twice as much as if i'd have 860 resistance (according to your numbers). Don't forget though, I also don't get hit by any rider effects, cc, and whatever else joins the mitigated damage. Your logic is missing and your aggressive retort confirms it.

Quick question. If you could have 90% evasion. Would that be superior? Yes, so at what number does the threshold have to be for evasion to be superior on non tank builds and can we reach that? That's the only question a true theory crafter would ask. Endurance for tanks because of how defense formulas work with DR. Evasion for everyone else if they are able to reach a threshold of effectiveness. Otherwise, they accept they are squishy and take endurance then pray to god damage spread roll doesn't kill them. It's that simple. It's not that deep. But if you want to get deep. How come no one brings up damage spreads of non crits? A crit is a max roll. A 99% damage roll isn't a crit but is still hitting you like a truck. Tanks can handle those hits but other classes can't.
This is exactly what I've come to realize recently. Barely reaching 1000 Endurance does absoutely **** all for me in most small scale PvP scenarios. I'm switching away from Endurances because I'd much rather have 1900 Evasion and have a 30-40% chance if evaded all forms of damage vs. occasionally not being critical hit by an enemy. I feel like large-scale endurance is better as people can pile up on you. Where as Evasion is king when doing things like arena or small-scale fights during events or Sauradoma. Personally, I'm going the latter. Getting CC'd stunlocked in place for 15 seconds non-stop, but being "super tanky to survive it" is a extremely boring way to play. I want to be able to ****ing move man.
I came and stayed here for some test, not for pure talking which I can find everywhere. Most of the Bow/Staff got 1500 crit rate, so your 800 endurance is not useless but very low profit, because 700 difference vs 1500 (if you have 0 endurance) is like 41% vs 60% crit rate (it is like 15% dmg reduction). You can easly stack 1500+ eva and typical players have about 1000 hit chance. 500 eva gives 33% evasion rate (33% dmg reduction). What more with eva you can resist CC. Evasion is always better (but not for tanks) if you can go high and Endurance is better if your enemy has a little crit rate. You, as a tank, you can easly win vs GS/Dagger, because averange GS/Dagger has about 800 crit rate? Your endurance with damage reduction is OP there.

Never listen to a greatsword player telling you to go endurance or evasion! They are mad that they cannot hit you. They have fragile egos and usually run away complaining when they blow their skills are you are not dead. It doesn’t matter if you your endurance reduced all their hits to 500 damage they would still kill you because they have so many stuns and knock downs. That’s why you need 1800+ evasion and they miss all their hits. Vs range and mages it be better to go endurance then.

NOT BASE DAMAGE. More and more dps relay on heavy rather than crit nowadays, hows your math now? Im a 3700 melee eva tank and i bet i can take you in every scenario. Good info. Im built out with triple endurance seeker. All purple/all traited out. I do agree with video. My biggest issue however in pvp is CC. In the arena it’s easier but large scale I just stayed stunned. I do have cure stone but after I fire it off, I’m right back to being stunned by next. Usually get fueded and have 2-4 players targeting me just to keep me stun locked. Super annoying. I Had not figured out a solution for this yet.

I put myself essentiallty at 2000 ranged and magic evasion and 1200hit, to be honest I don't see why I would run endurance, nobody will get close to 2000 hit, not even close.

That's not evasion. It's collision. You would rather get debuff duration - then evasion for tank to get debuffs off of you.

The facts are as follows.
Any dagger build go evasion
Tanks should go both evasion and endurance for melee and end for ranged
Anyone else go endurance
Going Melee Evasion and Ranged End is also very popular.
I was building endurance, but even at 800 endurance, Im still getting oneshotted with cc, silence, etc. And I dont feel like it changed from when I had 100 endurance. If im gonna get oneshotted with cc ANYWAYS... then maybe stack evasion so i can at least SOMETIMES survive with 17% chance. But in that case, I may die more to a bit weaker enemies if I dont dodge. Even if you build 1500 evasion, its not like you are going to miss 70% of the time.(assuming they have ~1000 hit) This game is all about CC, oneshot. But again, Idk if Dps building endurance will get you to survive melee CC oneshot combo

Even a Staff player with no buffs can hit 1400 static evasion? They have no means of sustaining constant incoming damage like a tank can.

I say it depends a lot on your class.
Endurance is very optimal if you are using a wand or a shield, it is impossible to kill them unless several attack them at the same time.
but classes like GS/daggers.
staff/daggers.
longbow/daggers.
They take great advantage of evasion. and reaching almost 3k when they do a skill with dash they have a 50% chance of avoiding attacks like CC that if they put you to sleep or stun you in the middle of a battle those seconds are very crucial in a large scale pvp.
If we are realistic, it is very difficult for someone to have more than 1.3k hit probability.
I agree with you, brother. I am a tank with 2383 melee endurance, 2400 ranged endurance, and 1898 magic endurance. I also have 1278 melee evasion. I noticed that it's good to spread edurance and go all out on one type for evasion. I literally can walk in flags uncontested.
UPDATE: So now I am at 2893 melee endurance, 3008 ranged endurance, and 2356 magic endurance. and 1383 melee evasion. It's good so far I'd say that the combination of both is good but the down fall of evasion is you can really only choose one evasion type but endurance can be spread agian like I mentioned before. Endurance is king due to that you'll take less critical damage you can build skill damage resistant and heavy attack resistant aswell you'll really only be weak to one or two things. It's a rock paper scissors game, so just be aware and avoid fights when you can. Let your team play around your build as a tank, still working on my runes I got a strat baby can't wait for next siege.

Jokes aside, 1.5k evasion is not unrealistic, it only requires you to specifically build into that like any other stat. Having more than 1 evasion at that point though is close to impossible if you don't use a dagger (or a crossy but who plays that without daggers).
In fact I have 2 builds both of which surpass 1.5k evasion in 2/3 of the damage types.
Endurances can easily be stacked to 860 in 2 stats by literally anyone and thus they're an easier build but claiming they're defacto better stats to build is misleading.

My melee eva build is nearing 1.7k without sacrificing any of my stats, and still has a respectable 1.5k ranged evasion.
My anti Ranged has 1.9k ranged and 1.6k magic.
In both cases i'm on average not being hit by at least 1/3 of the damage, this is at least twice as much as if i'd have 860 resistance (according to your numbers).
Don't forget though, I also don't get hit by any rider effects, cc, and whatever else joins the mitigated damage.

Quick question. If you could have 90% evasion. Would that be superior? Yes, so at what number does the threshold have to be for evasion to be superior on non tank builds and can we reach that? That's the only question a true theory crafter would ask.
Endurance for tanks because of how defense formulas work with DR.
Evasion for everyone else if they are able to reach a threshold of effectiveness. Otherwise, they accept they are squishy and take endurance then pray to god damage spread roll doesn't kill them.
It's that simple. It's not that deep.
But if you want to get deep. How come no one brings up damage spreads of non crits? A crit is a max roll. A 99% damage roll isn't a crit but is still hitting you like a truck. Tanks can handle those hits but other classes can't.
This is exactly what I've come to realize recently. Barely reaching 1000 Endurance does absoutely **** all for me in most small scale PvP scenarios. I'm switching away from Endurances because I'd much rather have 1900 Evasion and have a 30-40% chance if evaded all forms of damage vs. occasionally not being critical hit by an enemy.
I feel like large-scale endurance is better as people can pile up on you. Where as Evasion is king when doing things like arena or small-scale fights during events or Sauradoma.
Personally, I'm going the latter. Getting CC'd stunlocked in place for 15 seconds non-stop, but being "super tanky to survive it" is a extremely boring way to play. I want to be able to ****ing move man.
I came and stayed here for some test, not for pure talking which I can find everywhere. Most of the Bow/Staff got 1500 crit rate, so your 800 endurance is not useless but very low profit, because 700 difference vs 1500 (if you have 0 endurance) is like 41% vs 60% crit rate (it is like 15% dmg reduction). You can easly stack 1500+ eva and typical players have about 1000 hit chance. 500 eva gives 33% evasion rate (33% dmg reduction). What more with eva you can resist CC. Evasion is always better (but not for tanks) if you can go high and Endurance is better if your enemy has a little crit rate.
You, as a tank, you can easly win vs GS/Dagger, because averange GS/Dagger has about 800 crit rate? Your endurance with damage reduction is OP there.

Never listen to a greatsword player telling you to go endurance or evasion! They are mad that they cannot hit you. They have fragile egos and usually run away complaining when they blow their skills are you are not dead. It doesn’t matter if you your endurance reduced all their hits to 500 damage they would still kill you because they have so many stuns and knock downs. That’s why you need 1800+ evasion and they miss all their hits. Vs range and mages it be better to go endurance then.

Now remove my eva build, add 4 pieces shock, i have less than 1k ebdu with 89 or 99 DR correct. dR is only for bonus dmg, 1k endu will do nothing against heavy and will only reduce CRITS. NOT BASE DAMAGE. More and more dps relay on heavy rather than crit nowadays, hows your math now?
Im a 3700 melee eva tank and i bet i can take you in every scenario. Btw, i have 1400 hit chance and 20k hp and 620 heavy on 503 damage. so im not losing any important stats.

Good info. Im built out with triple endurance seeker. All purple/all traited out. I do agree with video. My biggest issue however in pvp is CC. In the arena it’s easier but large scale I just stayed stunned. I do have cure stone but after I fire it off, I’m right back to being stunned by next. Usually get fueded and have 2-4 players targeting me just to keep me stun locked. Super annoying. I Had not figured out a solution for this yet.
that's why collision resistance is selling for more now, KR people just stack that and be unstoppable.

I put myself essentiallty at 2000 ranged and magic evasion and 1200hit, to be honest I don't see why I would run endurance, nobody will get close to 2000 hit, not even close.
