Great video! I have been using your previous tank build and it's awesome especially in keeping aggro. I dont have the shock commander set, dont even have a full purple set yet but my base HP is now 23k. Thanks for your videos. Keep them up!
Aggro is a non issue. Survival too. The purple sets is to do some PvP with and also.. like achieve something. T2 can be tanked with blue gear alt at 2.5k
Question… what about our contribution? Like didn’t the devs say that damage and healing are the only factors which gives us a chance to get the good loot. Or is that only apply in like open world bosses? Thanks and love all your content for us tank players 🛡️
I think they are messing in the background for contribution my guild did a raid last saturday - and the tanks won 2 drops. Same builds etc. so there is def. something with it.
Another great video, just a few points I've been following your other build by did you get rid of Guillotine blade etc. And would it make a big difference if using the Sauro Bracers like you said last video as I've maxed it out. Happy thanks giving
Thank you, I switched it out for a defensive. In Random parties, not knowing the healer - and ppl generally not knowing what to do. I had to be more self sufficient - so i went with another defensive here. you lose a little dps but gain tons of defense. I went from Sauro to the other for the HP increase. I need more HP.
Ahh thank you, I've got the Field General gloves with Melee and Ranged Endurance and I noticed you have the shock commander gloves with attack speed rather than max health? Which should I go for, you think? Thank you
Question: why rear chain hook? Normal Chain Hook already generates maximum amount of aggro, says the description. Other than that, i enjoyed the video, and hope to be a good tank one day. I just got to 50 and im still babying
@@eliteforce5 I needed more aggro. I would find that it wouldn’t stick it normally. Once I put that on there. The boss turned to me 💯 and I kept the aggro. Since players are soooo strong atm. You need more aggro control faster. Those staff bow players put out sooo much dmg

I am doing Deats abyss and the arbiters require being stunned to stop their aoe attack. A stunning attack on the skill bar is what he meant. What do you suggest swapping for a stunning attack in your build?
I'd hands down swap out blood devotion for it. Blood devotion, if players fuck up and get cracked, you just kinda get wrecked. I haven't found a use for it outside of pvp and only as a combo with stalwart bastion
@@myballzachertz5607 In case anyone else has the same doubt, coliding with the enemy with shield rush, or pulling with the chain, also is supposed to work to stop their aoe attack. The only reason for stun is dealing with those linked shamans who give invulnerability to each other in butcher's canion.
After 400+ playing as tank need you need to update that build go easier on the chain pull...and seeing u don't use witty strike tells me alot.... for a tank it a must for bloking
Zero issues not using witty strikes in any 2 star dungeon with pugs. Witty strikes is a weak skill that needs a buff before it's considered useful at the moment.
Decent build but waaaaaaaaay overkill on the survivability part. Sure, when you're running with randoms where the healer does a lot it might come in handy but usally you don`t need it and can focus a lot more on dealing damage, that's why you are using GS and not wand in the first place. Blessing is only needed when you can't trust your healer and need to give you party more survivability with blood devotion for Shakaru imho.
This guy is mastery 11, he barely plays TL. Indeed, you don't need an "IMMORTAL" build for pve, even in 2* you get barely scratched. It's far more efficient to focus on damage to finish dgs faster. If your healer is not doing its job, kick and replace.

I like to use stunning blow with death blow and guillotine blade, I might use that blessing of immortality in voidwastes though ty
yeah i normally use that as well, however in random parties - its hard. the healer is never good, you gotta be able to self sustain yourself a bit.
First, was thinking of switching to GS/Daggers because I have a bis Dagger and Fury magnas Blade but couldnt drop the Karnix sword :(
you can easily craft it now. you just need to do random dungs. for the things.

I finally put together the last build with blue gloom gear and see this😢

what would you change out to do more dps, im new and have a hard time finding a good build for bosses or aoe
