Great video! First time pool owner and made the draining of pool very simple. Question - after filling pool back up and pool panel turned back on, anything need to be done with pump? Wasn’t sure it goes back on cycle it was set to previously.. Anyway, thank you for the content
Thank you Once the pool is full you need to prime all the pumps as they will Have no water in them. Take off pump lid basket and add water before turning on. Add start up chems
I guess you could as long as you make sure that the skimmers are completely closed and no water is getting sucked in and make sure that you watch it and turn off when it gets down to the drains so you don’t run pump dry. I would assume that wouldn’t hurt your filters.
👏 👏 👏 👏 kept it nice and simple right on guys good work.
Thank you! 👍

You didn't have to remove the drain plugs in the bottom Drains?
If I have a DE pool which backwashes to the sewer if I close off my skimmers can I drain using the pool pump instead of a sump pump?
