Welcome Al. USD32K is based on early 2019. However based on my cousin’s experience now while building their own home, we have increase in cost of materials na rin (some) and labor din. Let’s hope that in time, things will be better sa PH, so more Pinoy can enjoy building homes in more cost effective manner.
I really like the idea of a smaller but tidy and customized house. I'd rather spend the extra money on the quality of materials, fixtures and new technology instead of having huge halls. Currently I have a big house but, since the kids have their own lives now, I would lease that house and I will build a new small/tiny one which would be easier to maintain and allows for more efficient workflow. Sure there are times when a number of guests or relatives would drop by but, in my case, those are rare and when it happens I'd just rather be thankful of the more intimacy that smaller house offers.
it's tiny but watching the video, it feels it's comfortable to move and only necessary things are placed. Parang Japanese style din, harmony of materials and atmosphere are emphasized. Wise thinking.

Not actually a tiny house per se. The dimensions and overall height, i won't consider tiny at all. The design makes it look like a "tiny house" with the loft and its layout. But not tiny at all, especially in the Philippines. 😉
1.8M lang to? Yung binili ko halos 5M pero di naman kasi un tiny house. House and lot tapos sa capital pa kaya medyo pricey talaga. Gusto ko magpatayo ng tiny house siguro malapit sa beach.
I would love to build and live in a similar house. Only thing I would change would be the utilities/bathroom area of the house, not quite what I would do if I am considering to build my own retirement house. Stairs leading to the loft space seems to be too high than normal steps, so I would also change that but the home pretty much checks my boxes for a great home. Appears really spacious for a tiny home. Amazing.

Hehehe. Tama. It's a huge tiny house. A lot bigger than rowhouses of socialized housing. Definitely bigger than tiny house on wheels. I mean kakapanuod ko lang ng mga videos bahay sa Lumina, lol. Pero it's complete and maayos din talaga.
I don't think it's 'tiny house' at all since the measures are quite proportion and standard po, but maybe you defined it in a way considering the TFA vs the TLA. The facade is nice po, earth colors are good, but i think its more preferable to put larger windows to allow more of a passive cooling effect and fresher ambiance when ac is off. Sliding doors are very convenient since it saves a lot of space but (lastly) I find the location of the washing machine directly connected and serves as entry way to the bedroom as well as the projector, projecting near the stairs weird po (based on my preference only) , but yes this was a good idea to start with.
civil engineer here, for 1.3M this is a great and cost effective design! so far no international standards with dimensions set yet which tiny or small house for that matter. agree there are minimal number of windows but imho i believe this is a cost and structural measure, more openings and glass adds to the cost & compromise integrity since it is tall...ventilation is by hot air going up hence high ceiling.......very smart indeed
@@bugsy101073 hello RLA here, well if that's what the concept says, but more openings can be more cost effective too since it can integrate natural lighting on the interiors, cool them more and not just rely on the active system, aside from the fact that it'll be more aesthetically pleasing. i dont think its that tall hence it's "tiny", and yes hot air goes up and there's that space near it since it's loft type. yes also, but ventilation is also introducing outside fresh air to the interior space, indoor air quality is very very important in design especially in hot location. then again it's just my opinion.
