- 🏠 Your Own Tiny Home for P8K a Month by Cubo Modular | Unique Homes | OG
How to make housing sustainable and affordable? Lucky for Filipinos, Cubo Modular, the first and only sustainable modular housing company in the country is here and ready to alter the Bahay Kubo into a modern home using one of the world's fastest-growing plants - the bamboo. (Talk about reimagining.)
Here's Earl Forlales, Co-founder and CEO of Cubo Modular, taking you on a house tour inside their 1st generation Sarangani model.
In just a few days, the firm can build you a sustainable tiny house you can live in for up to 50 years.
That's right, a SUSTAINABLE tiny bamboo house. And you can get it for as low as ₱8,266/month complete with electricity and plumbing.
And of course, you must have a running list of concerns: storage, ventilation, electrical wiring, natural light, more storage, and whatnot.
Is it going to be of great value?
Take the tour and find out.

Magkano po pag Cash??
ilang taon po ang pag hulog?
Do you have one in Tagaytay?
How much Po cash?

Suggestions: pocket door for the bathroom, basin and toilet on the other side so entry is not blocked, window in kitchen should be horizontally longer, upper kitchen cabinets should be half as deep as the lower cabinets and easily accessible by 5 foot Filipina women, rain water collection system, aircon should be accessible and placed lower, ladder should be stored elsewhere when not in use. Options should be solar power to be off grid
Love your suggestions.
Would also like to add:
Utilize the outdoor space-use it as an outdoor dining area
The dining table is too big for the space, could use a foldable table and chairs inside for rainy days
The daybed could be extendable with foams that could be used as back support for the daybed
The loft doesn't look practical, maybe the angle of the roof could be decreased and add a 10 in-12 inch height from the base of the lowest part of the loft to the roof and add shelves on that part
The aircon isn't placed practically on the smallest room in my opinion, there's some space at the base of the bunk bed to add additional storage
The kitchen countertop is too small (for me ✌️)
Anay proof na po yan kc bamboo pati sa mga foundation sa lupa?
@@zaldyangeles would.like to know too.
I think they made the storage bigger to maximize storage space and I personally prefer it that way. It's easy to contact and add rainwater collector through the downspout and solar power provision through the panel board main entry by contacting different suppliers, but I totally agree with revising the design for a pocket door and the layout of lavatory.
Magkano poh,Ang price nya,Kubo house, and kong monthly basic
Amazing! First time in million years that we finally can see sustainable home living in the Philippines!
I'm so happy the Tiny House movement is here in the Philippines na!
Just wow! the design is simple, natural and safe. No permanent address ako since I was born and renter since I started to work 😂 I need this ❤️❤️❤️
Really great home, very lovely people, Philippines people so happy and humble
I love the idea of tiny homes!❤️🙌 Beautiful! And easy to clean and to live in
Very well designed and enviromentally friendly. A cool relaxing hom.
Hopefully mas madami pa silang models in the future like the tiny homes seen on US and Australia
Love this house very genius good for 5 to seven individuals sulit na quality pa
Watching here ganda naman ng house sending full suport👍♥️
Nice, looking forward to more improvements. Protection from sun and rain on the exterior, possibly grills on windows (just being realistic in the Philippines) and more flexibility on the rooms.
Yes!! GRILLS ON WINDOWS and maybe even doors are so reassuring👍 Safety, security..big concern 🎯. The client can shoulder grill cost, it's a personal choice.
The best local design.
Congratulations
Clean, conducive and safety

This idea is soo amazing sir. hopefully we can afford one
Biggest dilemma talaga yung electricity and fire sa house na ganito, pero ang husay kasi di lang nag focus sa designs but sa safety as well. 👏
engineered bamboo is so sustainable! thank u for sharing!
Thank you also for watching our feature of Cubo Modular! 💛

Ang Ganda organize Ang buhay

Awesome design Heart eyesLike
Beautiful.
Nakakainspire 💖😲
Glad you liked our video :)
Cute tiny house but beautiful
Wow amazing. Building my own tiny house too. Liked and subscribed too
As mentioned by Ms. Meng Hua, the wooden building structure must be protected at all cost from humid intrusion. As such, instead of engineered bamboo coverings, the front and backed walls coverings should be substituted with locally made brick looking like tiles, color of which is to be selected by the purchaser. The tiles will be laid on 3/4" marine plywood for durability, panelized for ease of installations. The panels with be set at about 1 cm spacings. To ensure protection against moisture intrusion, the spacings will be provided with adhesives, color of which is compatible with the tile color. This method will not only merit for ease of installations, durability and aesthetics but will also ensure protection against moisture intrusion and protection against the hot tropical climate. It is assumed that the doors and windows are provided with screens against insect intrusions. The windows must also be water resistant for protection against rain intrusions because of the omission of the roof eaves. For as long as the wooden building facility is fully protected from moisture intrusion and the windows are water resistant, the roofing eaves may be omitted. The windows should also be provided with grills to enhance security from possible burglary occurrence. In any business undertaking, transparency must be promoted by detailing the pricing of what is inclusive and exclusive. The dimensions must also be shown on the floor plans of each modular house to enable prospective buyers to select the modular type compliant to their lot size requirements.
Amazing po.
Wow galing po, thank u sir at pabor po sa amin na gustong magkabahay pero hindi kaya ng cash at affordable monthly..❤️
💛
Good for minimalist style of living
Ang ganda
I like the style..
Wow amazing !...Sana affordable para maramimg magpagawa sa inyo!...If the Govt can only support you this CUBO will help a lot of people!...Ngayon pa lang po ay cong na!...Its beaurifuatsrats
Ngayon pa lang po ay congrats na its a beatiful and very promising project!
Yes, that is true! 💛
Great business idea
While I can appreciate the quality of materials, interior design and scaling of furnitire is important in tiny homes. The scale of furniture and lay out could be better. Also exterior needs more protection from sun and rain.
Wow magnda yan aaa
Nice!
Super like
Ayos!
Panalo😎
I love it
Madadala ng malakas na hangin pag bagyo
Wow 😍😍😍
Thank you for sharing now i have to start for my future tiny house in laguna 🙏🙏💪2022
Best of luck!💛
It costs 1.8 million for the top model on lump sum payment terms. You'll be paying for the value of the design, the fast transition into occupancy, and the project management for the delivery and installation. I wonder if delivery and installation is free. It's pretty pricey, looks premium, but there are equivalent 2 storey full sized row houses in low cost subdivision projects. This will work if you're in a hurry, want to build quickly on your own land, and want a stand alone shelter or residence on our property.
I wonder where they get their bamboo? Sino supplier? From China?
how about pag cash.. surely mas mababa?
Installation and delivery are not free unless they have a promo for that. So yeah really too expensive, plus u have to have your own lot of course and in case of expansion o repair/renovation, you have to hire them. Still go for low cost housing instead of this and still need to consider the climate changing and the natural calamities we normally encounter in a tropical country.
Ipakopya na lang ang design kung wala maisip for tiny home & make it with traditional materials. This shit is too expensive for poor people.
@@taglavis meronna po mga kumpanya dito sa Pinas nagpo produce ng engineered bamboo. 3 years lang kasi from planting maaari ng i process ang giant bamboo
This rocks 🔥
God bless you too Sir, God's will 👍🌹🏡🎂❤️✌️💔🍬🍎🩹🇵🇭
Im very much interested to have one of this kind home
Ang laki ng dining table...it eats up alot of space...mas maganda Sana Kung half collapsable type
wish ko sana may ganito din sa metro manila
Glad you liked our feature of Cubo Modular 💛
Cubo can be possible almost anywhere like in provinces.
Sana meron din kayo sa Leyte kasi gusto ko mag pagawa ng bahay. Ganyan laki at design
Thank you.
Hoping that there are engineered bamboo stocks for modular bedroom design in Davao.
beautiful concept. may i know if they have tested the material for continuous water exposure (like the cabinet sa tapat ng shower) and for rain outside given that we do have longer rainy seasons now. pwede din kaya mag opt out for some features and replace with say a small living and office space? dining can be done kasi in the kitchen or outside if you want to entertain.

It looks promising sa mga places na hindi binabagyo. Magaan yung materials kaya baka naman madaling tangayin ng hangin. Maganda to transient houses for vacations sa mga resorts or tourist spots. Pero as a regular house, I still prefer sementado. Sa akin lang naman yun
Meron bang lugar sa pilipinas na di binabagyo? pag ganto bahay mo at sinuwerte ka mala odette dumaan sa inyo, gudluck.
Not part of Cubo, but based on the details sa website nila and videos nila, they use tools na maghohold sa unit to the foundation.
@@lezahesoj6418 of course they will say that. but looking at how typhoons are in the past and now, I don't think a bamboo structure will "hold" kahit pa gano yan engineered.
nice!
I like the sarangani model
ganda
This is nice
Nice imterested
Thank you . I am thinking of buying one.
Good choice!
Wow amazing. Magpapagawa sanA AKO Like that nice house. Ang galing . Thanks for sharing. Saan nakakabili ng mga furniture's made in bamboos?
Nice for watching Vlog
Thanks for visiting
Nice
Beautiful! Will this withstand the strong typhoons in the Philippines?
My dream house
It is quite interesting that the 50 year warranty is only applicable on the structural component and nothing on the house components where engineered bamboo is actually used such as the interior/exterior walls, ceiling, floors, cabinetry, furnitures, etc. Basically none of the engineered bamboo material is guaranteed at all when the company is marketing purely on the use of engineered bamboo. So if the thin veneer of bamboo that is attached to the plywood or fiberboard (as this is basically what an engineered bamboo is made of) peeled off, warped or was damaged due to moisture (with rain & extreme humidity) then the owner/purchaser has to shoulder the cost of replacement.
Also there is no full disclosure on the price of each model unit, lacking good faith in the advertisement. The mention of 8k+ monthly payments, availability of up to 900k financing, 0% interest up to 10 yrs, etc. lacks forthrightness (only exuding a scheme).
true. kahit sa website nila walang mga info
Very nice sir..I want to have one.
💛💛💛
I cant imagine how small it is
Really interested
THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR PROJECT, IT REALLY LOOKS NICE. SOME QUESTION:IS THE BAMBOO TREATED AGAINST “ANAY”
DO YOU USE NAIL OR SCREW ON THE ROOF, MOST HOUSES DURING STRONG TYPHOON,THE ROOF CAME OFF, FOR SURE THEY USE
NAIL, NOT SCREW. THANK YOU

Nice.. just a suggestion maybe it's better if the windows and doors are sliding..
The client can always customize. Personally prefer jalousies or louver type bec of our tropical weather. Jalousies can allow more air inside😊
It's nice! Medio weird lang ang design inside.
nice house
The external wall at the back is galvanized iron. How did you insulate the house from the heat it creates in day time?

Wow...i love tiny homes. This is amazing...but the floor in the bathroom, is that still bamboo? Will it not rot overtime?
Pag nag for good na Ako bibili Ako nito 😊
Hmm.. Maganda nato pero I think may mga need pa mga iimprove. Looking forward sa next design. :)
This is the first generation which is what they phased out. They should have showcased the second generation since that's what they now sell.
I hope you have it in Cavite as well po
I wish you would offer this back for people such as myself that couldn't afford the luxurious versions.
Wow super ganda parang mga gawa sa US . Papagawa po kaya ako how much po? God bless you.
It’d be cheaper to build this with traditional materials and it would sure to last a century but if you’re into tiny houses and unconventional materials then this is a good alternative.
Just curious. When you mentioned traditional materials, what specific materials were you referring to?
@@mada4208 pine wood ata gamit nila dyan. pinagkaiba lang ng local materials sa gamit nila is may rough finish sila. mura lang at madali gawan ng smooth finish mga contruction wood para sa average carpenter. ang binibili mo dito is ung speed, design, experience, and sure na good finish.
@@rust8663 engineered bamboo po.
This is build with traditional material, its in the Philippines
elite bahay kubo..haha
Wow. This is amazing. I really love the materials you use, eco friendly and the designs is just amazing. How can we avail the engineered bamboo wood? And How much will cost for a 17sqm house +? Thank you and keep up the good work. We support local products.
Hello MOANATOE! You may contact them for inquiries through their website: www.cubo.ph. Thank you!
Would be nice if you guys build a tiny home out of Container.
