The amount of self sabotage people pulled off in BCS and BB is actually pretty impressive. So many opportunities to come out ahead were squandered on pride, ego, revenge....you name it. Costing most of the main cast everything in the end.

We were robbed of Kim and Cliff scene in the sequel timeline.
I think Cliff’s reaction of Kim revealing the truth would be more impactful than those of Cheryl because unlike Cheryl, Cliff has a deeper relationship with Kim. He had so much faith in Kim that he set a lunch meeting for her and it’s must be shocking for him to know that Kim was the one who ruined Howard’s life and Howard was correct the whole time (because in case of Jimmy, Cliff would be like “Yep, Howard might sound crazy at that time but looking back at it, scamming people is Jimmy’s thing as of course he’s done that to Howard” but in case of Kim, it’s world-shattering because like everyone else, especially the audience in real life, Cliff saw Kim as a morally pure hero).

The heads of the law firms in BCS come across as such professional, courteous, and forthright characters. Cliff Main, Rick Schweikart, Howard Hamlin. They're genuinely supportive of both Kim and Jimmy, and always get burned for it. Cliff even asks how Jimmy's doing when he sees Kim, in one scee, after his last interaction with him was over the younger McGill brother's over-the-top antics at Davis & Main. It's refreshing, really. Everybody loves the caricature of the sleazeball lawyer, often because we've had a run-in with one or two. And we got that with Saul in BB and in his more colorful moments in BCS. But the show goes out of its way to demonstrate that there's another path Jimmy and Kim could have, should have followed.

1:38 That's the POV shot of Jimmy Defecating Through A Sunroof Lol
But in all seriousness, I always loved this shot. In the same episode in the beginning we see Howard brewing his wife an exquisite cup of coffee, made with love.
Only for her dumping it carelessly into her thermos can & leaving, while Howard & his wife being emotionally distant throughout.
While in this scene, the coffee is probably sub par in quality & also gets dumped in carelessly by the vending machine, but we see Kim & Cliff having a very close & connected conversation.
Which goes to show that no matter how much money you have, the true wealth comes from having deep & meaningful relationships with people.
Many financially poor people are often the kindest & have family meals together, & would share & laugh together & don't even have time to argue about trivial things in the first place.
While the rich elite couple has dinner in utter silence & makes awkward small talk about the stock market.
This show has countless of these parallel shots which is why BCS is a utter cinematographic masterpiece.

@@karadanianoI He was a pushover though. Trying to save the firm by bankrupting himself was a very noble decision, too bad his wife couldn't see that. Maybe he should've confronted her about that. I don't even blame her, it takes two to tango and being very wealthy is like a drug with no negative side-effects. At first it feels amazing and blissfull, but over time you get used to it. And when the day comes that you lose your wealth you'll find yourself unable to adjust to a life without it. You will feel depressed and worthless for living a life that millions of others already learned to enjoy and to be content with. Hardship is what unites people and makes them grow (or break), that's why poor people are emotionally richer than wealthy people. Being very wealthy makes you an outsider, because you don't understand how it feels to be a regular Joe. Being able to buy everything you want doesn't make you happy. I'm not poor and I'm certainly not wealthy, so I own a lot of power tools and hand tools and do it myself. After finishing a repair I don't feel ashamed because I couldn't afford a handyman, instead I'm content and feel good about myself because I have skill and don't have to rely on others. And when you're wealthy, you always have that nagging feeling that maybe people are only faking affection because they want something out of you. That's why I would never get married. It can only ruin a relationship, but never make it grow.
