This is literally how I felt when spring break started then a lockdown happened in our county when covid cases started to spread which literally was my senior year of high school. We never got an actual graduation, we only had a drive thru.

I was a sophomore when lockdown started. I had put away 8th grade drama and was eager to start anew. I made a few friends, most of them juniors and seniors. Then lockdown started. “Nice, an extra long spring break! Time to hang out with friends!” I thought.
Now I am a senior with no friends yet again. For some reason many kids just skipped town over the year since I’d seen them. Oh well.
I hope you have a great future, even if you were robbed of precious moments. I’ll try to create a few memories in my final year as well. Try to keep your head up.

Man, this reminds me of how I felt when our classes were suddenly stopped because of covid spreading. That school year ended without goodbyes and a new one started before I even saw my friends again. We're still in a lockdown and this is the last year that me and my friends would be in the same class. And to think that we wouldn't even be able to hug and celebrate together breaks my heart.
true i was like “LETS GOOO 3 WEEKS OFF OF SCHOOL” and a whole new year started, i was in online class and none of my friends were in my class. in person school started but i switched schools so i never saw my friends ever again :(

I have a friend that moved to an online school before quarantine, and due to the pandemic I hadn’t seen them for almost 2 years. Then a new year started and we were supposed to go to the same school finally, and boom. They physically moved due to her mom’s job. Still in touch over text but damn we have almost fully grown up without having seen eachother.
Man, this reminds me of how I felt when I was opening some 81+ two rare UCL players packs and I got a walkout and then I saw Germany pop up, then CAM and then the dortmund badge and I thought I packed Marco Reus, I was so happy saying "Oh lets go thats class!" but then I realised I had packed Julian Brandt, my emotions quickly changed as I realised I missed out on a sick player and I just stopped and my hands went down. And to think that I could have saved 150k by getting reus breaks my heart.
It's actually very sad to say that this aged well. We lost a king.
