I have a few of these KO MP11's and those wobbly hips will eventually fall apart. The problem is the flat top screw that holds the torso to the hips has blunt thread. You have to remove the front crotch piece that's on a pin to access a screw behind it. I replaced the flat top screw with a hex nut & bolt and a washer from an old RC car and it's been rock solid since. The wings not tabbing in bot mode is because the hinge is little big, but spongy. Just push the hinge with your thumb as you force the tab in. The tab is slightly to big, but that makes it hold like cement once tab'd. There's no fix for the loose lower knee joint, the screw holes are threaded. Maybe replacing with a larger screw? Loosen the screws slightly on the torso slider

@@reluttr2 I know it's old, but I had the same issue with KBB Thundercracker, I did the same, I put a small piece of plastic just between the metal part of the body and the hips, and now it's rock solid. You can add varnish nail to add stiff to the joints
on my MP-11, it has LONG LIFE DESIGN logo. on the bottom of the box, between the QRCODE and the BARCODE, there is a stamped alpha-numeric C2517. on the figure itself, under the left wing, there is the same code C2517. i wish i can upload some pix to show.
Further probs discovered with this KO while transforming: The wings do not clip at all. Basically cannot display in jet mode. Also the worst of all, the pin that connects one of the chest pieces to the torso is missing entirely so that piece is just loose. This is probably fixable but the wing clipping problem is bad.
What are a few KO (not 3P) brands for MP36 (Megatron) or other G1 MP scale that ppl seem to like? I know Wei Jiang & Jin Bao do some MP KO's but i need to look at what other companies are offering. Thanks.

nope, I don't. mp starscream seems to be be that one figure I'll never get. he was always super crazy expensive. i finally broke down amd saved up for it, bought one on ebay aaaaaand then turned out I got scammed by the guy who never even had it in the first place. but I had waited too long to make a claim (coming grom overseas I figured I'd be patient. whoops) had I made the claim 3 days sooner though..... I was going to get the Hasbro this time around, people on ebay think it's justified to sell it for 160+ bucks which is outrageous so I see this KO, and finally a starscream that isn't going to cost a crazy expensive amount. and it's going to be garbage apparently yaaaaaay! aaahhh Starscream! why do you betray me?! (not trying to be a sob story, I legit find my srarscream adventure to be a bit on the amusing side = P)
Well, at least the hasbro one fixed all the takara's issues. I'm glad I picked that up. Hopefully it's a bit better when they get to the other seekers because I'm not spending $200 for this mold. No way.
ur hasbro was better then takara? thats a first, my takara is pefect, i got the hasbro version it was the worst qc ive ever had in an mp offical figure, sold it right away.
My hasbro MP Starscream is the best seeker I have. It tabs together BEAUTIFULLY. I can grab him by his wings and shake him vigorously and everything stays tabbed in perfectly. The takara's chest comes apart if you look at it the wrong way.

Really late to the party here but I'm so glad I got the yes model version of this guy. Compared to these two figures it's leaps and bounds better. Got it for $60 in a flash sale so a pretty good purchase I guess.
Just received mine in the mail today. Paid 115 which is to be expected. Awesome figure but the freaking right thumb is somehow missing. This was a MISB figure... fml
+Dan G the Hasbro version was plagued with problems like that. Missing fingers, two right hands or legs etc. straight from the factory. I was lucky, my wife rushed to TRU while I was at work and grabbed one for me and he was great out of the box. Much tighter than my Takara Screamer and better to pose in robot mode.

Got the KO for like $43 on ebay. It is really disappointing. Fingers fall off very easily and the chest pieces have fallen out. I haven't even transformed it yet. Worst KO I have by far.

I got the bug of mp collecting actually when I discovered the Prowl ko on eBay since I've sold him and replaced all with hasbro or Takara and have quite an army, much to my wife's annoyance. Honest reviews aren't frequent as alot of reviewers are in hock to suppliers. Reviews like your one just now do the community a service.

This - like the legit MP11 mold - was hot garbage in hindsight. I was tempted to pull the trigger on the Yes Model reissue, but...the MP52 KOs were starting to come out at that point, and the Eagle MP52 KO was even cheaper than the Yes Model MP11 KO, so I got that instead. Doesn't help that there's still no sign at all of Yes Model reissuing their MP11T Thundercracker or MP11SW Skywarp. (Of course, the 1:1 & Eagle MP52+ Thundercracker KOs are gone, the Eagle MP52+SW Skywarp KO is gone, but the 1:1 Skywarp KO still seems to be out there...) Suffice it to say, despite the few fixes that KuBianBao & Yes Model brought to the table, MP11 was just a mold that was doomed to fail at release. No idea how such abysmal execution and dumb design decisions managed to make it past the QC folks. Same can be said of the initial MP03 mold, the torso on that thing was even worse than MP11's. 🤔🤔🤨🤨🧐🧐🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
Thx for the review but good luck getting a refund. Is it from eBay in China? The shipping itself will kill you $$$ and with insurance and tracking? You can forget about it. One time, I order stuff off ebay. The seller shipped me the wrong item and for me to get a refund I have to send the item back to china. And get this, the seller purposely give me the wrong shipping address!! (because I can read Chinese) Anyway, Good Luck!
Yes I agree that getting KOs from China via eBay is a gamble. you likely won't get a refund. However, to date all the KOs I have gotten were good enough, especially for the $30/price. the problem here is the figure is $130. I will just sell it on eBay again.
not really. he paid a fuck ton for this. most kos are like 30-35 dollars. i would never pay 130 for this especially when the original sucked donkey balls
@@TMReviews the problem is, many many folks cannot distinguish between KO and authentic; the box and the figure itself. many ppl on ebay sells "authentic" but in fact, it is KO. it is very frustrating. i am a collector and i am willing to pay a bit more for authentic takara tomy products. i do not support KO, fake nor imitation products.

For the most part the KOs have been on par with takara except for minor differences that didn't affect transformation or posing. for this figure I felt it affected those areas and that is the main reason I don't recommend it.
the Seakers have been a,disappointment from the beginning.....shame, really! I haven't bought a Starscream because there's no way I'd pay that much for something so damn cheap!

Yes model is definitely the best of the KO seekers, but I personally like maketoys better.

Ya...it's hard to find. Takara was $200 even at release which is absurd. Hasbro was reasonable at $70 but got jacked up by scalpers.

Ya Hasbro was the way to go. I already sold the KO for $115 so it's back my Takara version for now
