- I bought this Miller Bobcat 225NT welder generator. I bought this for $700 as-is. Fixed it, installed it and I love it.
It seems that every "project" I get myself into turns into a bigger ordeal than I wanted but needless to stay, stay positive, stay productive and you'll get it done! This unit I installed two new bridge rectifiers, a new set of brushes(the ones that were in there were still okay), a new stator and a set of magnets. The stater gives the generator the boost of electricity needed to boost to the proper operating voltage.

I would have never thought it to be a stator problem to make it weld or excite the 120 side. Thanks for the content. Excellent work
I appreciate the feedback and the support! Thanks for watching 😎
my 1st was a Lincoln 200 amp 'junior' with a Wisconsin VF4 hand-crank engine-I still have it. 2nd was a Lincoln 250GXT,put a few hours on that, then my repo buddy sold me a Miller Bobcat250 with 5hrs on it.What a difference! Now I have a Pipepro400.Miller makes the best for tuning the arc and really clean A/C power
Nothing welds like a miller! Thanks for sharing and for watching 😎
I love 7018 and never had a problem but was recommended to try 7014 and I have had the same problem with it wanting to hold and also doesn’t want weld it just laying on top
7018 is my go to! Thanks for watching
Interesting content, repairing failed equipment especially motorized ones has a huge audience so keep up the good work, but you really really need some lighting equipment at the very least!!
Thanks for the comment and the positivity. Yes I do and I’m growing slowly. Definitely will be investing in some lighting support. I appreciate you watching and for the support 😀
Great info! Thanks for sharing.
Nice! Did you resolve the welding voltage or will that be another video?
Thanks for asking! Yes I did and it welds great! I have a video coming out in a few days with my installing it into my truck and then you’ll see me welding with it. Thanks for asking and for watching!
Hmmm... I'm going to check my engine tomorrow. I have a 20hp Kohler on a big ass compressor. I see there is no shortage of replacement magnets on ebay.
Good idea! I was surprised too. Thanks for watching 👍
I want replace a onan gas with a diesel engine ?
That would be nice! You’ll need to make sure you get the right RPM
What’s up with leaving the choke on while running it??
Choke should be on to start it only. Not too sure what you are looking at?
What are the correct settings for power source only 🤔
Ideally you should be 120v 60hz at the outlets for 240vac out of the 240volt single outlet. Really anything from 110 - 130vac is fine
Me watching not even knowing what a stator is. 🤔✍️
Thanks for watching! This made me laugh

Which one, there's over 1000 supposed gods out there & magically yours is the true god - believers are just sheep to a system written by men who wanted to control other men & suppress their woman into subservience, but you are probably too blind to think for yourself.
You do know you are talking to the general public, so you should bite your tongue before you speak trashy garbage talk.
Put your mask back on and find a new channel to watch.
@Johnclause Your mother second guessed her decision to not raise you so she drove back around and took you out of the dumpster she put you in. Calm down on that high horse.
Grow a set will ya. Don't need snowflakes when is comes to doing mens work.
