    Can I change the consistency of Ambli after fermentation?So far, I have just made it once. However, because I wanted little watery I switched off the flame little early as mud pot keeps the heat for little longer. But even after keeping it for more than 12 hours (Pune) it didn't look like or tasted like fermented. What could be the reason? Definitely, Pune at present is neither very cold nor very hot.

    mam when I make Ambali , i seive the thick water above and have it. and eat the remaining millet with any veggies cooked. is it fine ? i dnt like porridge and smoothies.

    If I am making it with millet rava with 1: 10 ratio, how long does it take to get cooked completely? Till what consistency do I need to cook in a mud pot? Can I cook it only till the consistency I require or it should become almost custard like?

    I want a clarification. When does the 20 hr period start ? Is it from the time of the finishing of cooking Or it starts from the finishing of the fermentation period of ambali.

    Mam 2 time Ambali khata hu afternoon or night, afternoon khane ka baad night ku khane liye mei double bartan mei store karta hu means ek bartan mei store dusre bartan mai mei cold water daalta hu. Ta ki kharab na ho. Kya mei sahi kar rha hu.

      You can have fermented millets in monsoon too because it doesn't get sour , generally foods which become sour after fermentation are advised not to eat in monsoon in Ayurveda.

    Can people eat millets who have haemorrhoids or piles? Normally vegetables take 2-4 weeks to ferment and taste becomes sour. Do millets really get ferment in 4-10 hours. How long will Dalia, Sufi halva, dal/lentils and atta take to ferment?

      The grains are cooked and has enough carbohydrates so probably ferments faster.

      millet is food, app sare siridhanya millet rotate karke khaye ji. make sure to soak for 6-8 hrs before cooking. baki skin par acche oil - coconut, badam oil ki massage kare roz.

    Mam mera pet khrab ho gya hai jab se maine 8 hours millet ko bhigone shuru kiya hai pehle summer thi maine 4 hours, bhigoha tha ab 8 hour bhigona shru kiya hai mera pet kharab ho gya hai aisa kyu hua. Jab 4 hours bhigo rha tha tab Tu bilkul sahi tha.

    Myself & my wife aged 62 have been taking Ambi twice a day and lunch & dinner of sridhanaya millets chapatis for last four to five months. But sorry to say there is no sign of any relief in our health conditions.

      soak - 6-7 hrs in summers, cook - 12-15 minutes, ferment for about 6-7 hrs in summers. #wholesometales
