I unno, I'm just sad Sonic got so low in the past few years and I wished for it to be as succesfull and respected as Mario :\

Even if he did age in Sonic X, though, his ageing in the show would not affect the game continuity, where he has been 15 ever since Sonic Adventure. In Generations, his age is never actually stated, but since the events of Sonic Colours immediately precede Generations, it can be assumed he has only aged 1 year. That, or Eggman was gone a really long time, and everyone has somehow procured Shadow's agelessness.
