I made the pouring medium 2parts pva glue to 1part water, and then mixed 1part pouring medium to 1part paint. I added extra water to some to thin them down so the consistency of all paints was the same.

I absolutely adore your painting. To me the yellow part on the left peeking through the horizon looks like land or an island.. Absolutely wouldn't change anything.

Such a brave painting. I don't think I would have good results like you did. To many color blending areas. Maybe some day with more experience under my belt.

I like the idea of ribbon pouring one of these. Crisam Acrylics does a lot of these landscapy sort of pours and it does seem harder to do the flip and get everything even looking

Do you ever do a resin coat over your work? That would bring the purple back to how it looked wet so it’d look purple again. This piece would look awesome resined!! Edit: I keep coming back to watch over and over🤣

I just love this painting-I tried it-didn't come out as pretty as yours, but I will keep trying. I thought that maybe you could try these colors in the same order-but using your tape between layers.

With regards to a straight flat horizon...the “horizon” may appear straight and flat from great distance, however, water is rarely straight and flat it has constant motion, waves, undertow, riptides...
So wonderful! Maybe some dark blues going into deeper violet sky next time. I think you are on to something here.

Do you have any links for the companies that you bought your paints from? Several companies I have never heard of before.
I use monte marte, royal and langnickel, daler rowney, Amsterdam and pebeo studio acrylics mostly x
