- San Angel is a magical neighborhood in Mexico City known for its Spanish colonial architecture. I visited Saks, a gorgeous restaurant built inside a mansion.

Irish names belong to the St. Patrick's Battalion. They fought on the Mexican side during the American invasion of our country in 1846.
Thanks for that info 🙏
Hi Joe. I think this is the longest I’ve seen you stay in one city for videos. It was great for me as I was able to see much more than I expected. Fabulous channel. Appreciated

I used to take astrology classes in the early 90’s with Luis Lesur in this house that is now Saks restaurant, it was a restaurant of Indian food. It brought back memories of that time. Glad u enjoyed beautiful San Angel.
Wow. I didn't know that.
Nice looking restaurant. Shoe shine man said yes he has Blue .She said 20 to 30 minutes .
He was wonderful
You should have entered San Jacinto church. It' s a very pretty church! Colonial type. And just beside Saks is a beautiful museum
And there' s anothe museum very from there, Museo del Carme
Really worth it. And should have walked more in San Angel, really beautiful houses. By the eay, we are really proud of our religous heritage from de Spanish. We are grateful that they ended with han sacrifices.
Next time I will.
Yes, those mansions are several million dollars. So beyond most people's reach.
Blue for you is brown. Your boots and your jeans don't look the same color.
Plaza de los arcángeles is a beautifull and hidden square in San Ángel the next time you have to go there
Thank you 🙏. I’ll look for it

Wow, great video thank you for sharing, last time I was in San Angel was in 1997, I’m so glad to see it hasn’t changed at all.
Glad you enjoyed it. 🙏
I like to go out and jog to San Angel, alas jogging on cobblestone streets is an ankle sprain waiting to happen, so i walk around, there's numerous alleys, tiny little plazas, nooks and crannies to get lost into
Wow. I love san angel.
Very nice video!
Thank you very much!
What was the water situation while you were in Mexico City?
Bottled water. Also, most restaurants offer filtered water. Just ask. Thx 🙏
Hi Joe, thanks for replying. I meant the water shortage that Mexico City is experiencing. Did you have water to shower?
@@amypeterson5726 the one's who sufferer the water shortage are unfortunately the ones that lives in the poorer neighborhoods.
