  • San Angel is a magical neighborhood in Mexico City known for its Spanish colonial architecture. I visited Saks, a gorgeous restaurant built inside a mansion.

Irish names belong to the St. Patrick's Battalion. They fought on the Mexican side during the American invasion of our country in 1846.

I used to take astrology classes in the early 90’s with Luis Lesur in this house that is now Saks restaurant, it was a restaurant of Indian food. It brought back memories of that time. Glad u enjoyed beautiful San Angel.

You should have entered San Jacinto church. It' s a very pretty church! Colonial type. And just beside Saks is a beautiful museum
And there' s anothe museum very from there, Museo del Carme
Really worth it. And should have walked more in San Angel, really beautiful houses. By the eay, we are really proud of our religous heritage from de Spanish. We are grateful that they ended with han sacrifices.

I like to go out and jog to San Angel, alas jogging on cobblestone streets is an ankle sprain waiting to happen, so i walk around, there's numerous alleys, tiny little plazas, nooks and crannies to get lost into
