Mexico city, But Condesa and all those nice neighborhoods, Those arent Authentic, Authentic is street food that the majority of locals eat, Some street food have been there for over 50 years, 80% of them, that is tradition, not a restaurant in condesa that adjusts to the likes of people like you, authentic is a cheap taco, condesa is not authentic, Authentic Mexican food you eat standing up
That's a good point, we also visited other areas outside Condesa/Roma - they are beautiful, but I have heard they aren't as authentic due to all of the expats there
We are heading to Mexico City soon to spend a few months exploring this beautiful city, and we can't wait! Loved watching your video and getting ideas on where to go. We've subscribed so that we can follow along on your travel adventures. Cheers from Toronto...for now lol :)
dont listen to this guy, authentic food is on the streets, its eaten standing up mostly, not in condesa or hoods for tourists, what is tradition? a sidewalk stall the has been there for over 70 years or a condesa new place that adjusts to tourists taste? those hoods are made for tourists, no sidewalk street food because thats too many options for you, and we need to empty your wallet, so restaurant it is, but dont you dare call that authentic food, ask any Mexican about those prices and tell them thats authentic Mexico,
You have to go to the pyramids, la pirámide de la Luna y la del sol. Behind la pirámide del sol, there is a restaurant called “ la gruta”, one of the most unique restaurant you can go to.
Tremendous Capital City! Visitors quickly realize of the rich history, art, culture and delicious gastronomy. Mexico City is just fascinating, too much to explore and discover. The country has the largest number of world heritage sites recognized by UNESCO in the Americas. Nice vid!

Mexico City is defiantly under rated... 2 facts I know, the chapultepec park is bigger than central park in NY... Also the castle in Chapultepec is the only Castle of America that was used or occupied by Kings and European Royalty, that makes it extra special.
Great Video Guys !!! Next time go to SAN ANGEL, CHIMALISTAC and COYOACAN neighborhoods, if you Love Huge parks visit PARQUE LA MEXICANA ( the most modern park , lakes, cafes, restaurants, amazing landscape and awesome architecture, Don¨t miss the Iconic MUSEO SOUMAYA !!!

Thank you!... For telling it like it is, the right way... Mexico is in noth America... And just to make more confusion but truth, the official name of Mexico is... The Mexican United States of America... Not kidding.
As an American of Mexican descent born and raised in California, I am glad to see more and more "White" Americans and Canadians visit Mexico and see the reality of the country. These American and Canadian tourists then travel back to their country and are able to share the truth about Mexico with family and friends about how untruthful the portrayal by Hollywood of Mexico is in movies, etc. We are in the year 2024 and you would think the world wide web has made humans smarter and more informed yet their are still some very ignorant people in this world who believe in Hollywood's portrayal of certain countries is actually true...in the case of Mexico, some Americans and Canadians including lots of Europeans believe Mexico is a fully desert country and men ride around in burros(donkeys) with huge sombreros with some taking siestas under a cactus. The damage Hollywood has done to the image of Mexico to the rest of the world will take a long time to remedy or you can always visit the country yourself and let your eyes be the judge. Thanks for visiting Mexico guys and happy travels.
Thanks for the comment! And I agree, I think RUclips and independent content creators can show more of the world/different aspects of a place than many people might be aware of. Looking forward to sharing more Mexico content :)

I was just in Mexico City for a week during the first week of October and I got the worst Moctezuma's Revenge so I was sick the whole time. I was so disappointed, because there were so many vegan restaurants I wanted to try. I'm not sure if I got sick from the fruit bowl I had from Mora Mora Colima, the enmolada+tacos I had from La Pitahaya Vegana, or due to the ice in a thai iced tea that I got from Plantasia. Anyway, be careful.
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that! Venessa and I got Moctezuma's Revenge as well and we aren't exactly sure when/how we did. But the food was still incredible haha
Enmoladas are the most heavy spice food of them all. Even when food is vegan, sometimes the dishes are very oily (probably not cooked with the best quality one). Or just got sick because it simply was too much new food for your stomach to handle.
I am sorry that your experience in Mexico has not been so rewarding, perhaps your stomach is not ready for Mexican cuisine, so I recommend that you start with foods without chili and that you gradually consume it on another occasion, I hope you come back and have a better experience Greetings and thank you for coming to visit us
