  • Join our family as we embark on an unforgettable adventure in Mexico City! In this week-long journey, we explore the rich culture, history, and flavors of this vibrant metropolis and discover if it's safe here for families or if the warnings we've received up to this point are from well-intentioned but ill-informed people.
Our first stop is the iconic Palacio de Bellas Artes, a breathtaking palace showcasing the beauty of Mexican art and architecture.
We then head to the majestic Castillo de Chapultepec, a hilltop castle with panoramic views of the city and fascinating exhibitions that delve into Mexico's past. Right next door, we venture into the Chapultepec Zoo, where we encounter a diverse array of animals and learn about their conservation efforts. We got to see their Giant Panda, something Nicole has always wanted to do.
Our journey continues to Xochimilco, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its colorful trajineras (traditional boats). We hop on board at the Embarcadero Nativitas (others seemed to be a tourist trap) and cruise along the ancient canals, soaking in the lively atmosphere and admiring the floating gardens. We indulge in roasted corn, a popular street food, but it didn't quite live up to expectations.
We returned to the Zocalo before turning in for the night to witness the mesmerizing performance of Mayan dancers, showcasing their vibrant traditions.
Next, at Mercado San Juan, we immerse ourselves in the bustling market scene. We step outside our comfort zone and try eating a scorpion - a daring culinary experience you won't want to miss!
Speaking of food, I got to satisfy my desire of trying new foods at Le Casa del Chicharrón, a beloved eatery known for its mouthwatering pork cracklings. For dinner, I got to try tostados from Pasteleria Madrid.
Our accommodations for the week are at CDMX Rentals, offering stunning views of the city's historic center. On our last day we finally make a visit to the awe-inspiring La Catedral Metropolitana, an architectural masterpiece that showcases Mexico's rich religious heritage.
We hope you enjoy the video! Join us on this incredible journey as we explore the best of Mexico City, from its cultural landmarks to its mouthwatering cuisine. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe to our channel to follow along with our travel adventures!

Wow ! That's a bit like Hong Kong ! Eating on boats & vendors come around & cook meals / serve ! I didn't know they did that there in Mexico !
I'm learning a lot about Mexico lately via RUclips ! Lol. Too bad that only negative news make the headlines & we really don't know so many beautiful places in Mexico that are safe to visit !! Thanks to RUclips & RUclipsrs for that we can see & learn !! How about their water issues ? Where is safe to drink water & eat fruits etc in Mexico 🇲🇽 ?
Did you ever feel unsafe in Mexico ?
Walkable streets are very good to know ,too ! Some people are disabled or having walking issues . Or in wheelchairs, my mom is also,so it's much better to know of the walkabilities before visiting .
Mexico is now No.12 on economic growth ranks in the world !! 👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶🎄🎁🇲🇽💕💞

It was the first country we lived in to start off our travels. We loved it!
We stayed mostly in the Yucatan area then the last week in Mexico City. Wish we spent more time there after experiencing it.
In some places it is not safe to drink tap water. But bottled water is available.
I can only speak to our experience, but there wasn't a moment we felt unsafe.

I want to visit Mexico city but as far as the tourist spots from what i heard from other Mexicans that live there is that it has gotten way too comercial and expensive. I already had a disappointing experience in cancun and the tourist traps that’s why I’ve chosen to visit smaller places like Leon Guanajuato this end of the year, its just a 3 hour car ride from where i live in jalisco.Great video what caught my attention is you folks traveling with the kids since we have a 4 year old and trips mostly revolve around him I’m always looking for things for him to enjoy.

It's sad that people try to take advantage of tourists, but it happens everywhere. I'm not trying to justify it but is something that in a lot of countries happens. A taxy driver in NY city instead of taking me in a straight line from point A to point B took me all over town to charge more the moment he realized I was a tourist and the same happened to me in Madrid some time ago.
BTW roasted corn is a different kind of corn and that's the way it tastes. And yes food is pricey depending on where you are. Have you ever bought a 12 dollar insipid burger in Disneyland?
Sorry if you feel cheated but sometimes it happens when you're a tourist. I just hopped that you and your family enjoyed the Mexican experience and hospitality. Greetings from Tijuana, México.

That is something I don't like from you all.
Even when you thing that something is expensive nothing to compare Mexico prices to usa prices you Don complain in your country why you do that here in Mexico. We as Mexicans aren't Less the people from usa
If you notice a good treatment from the Mexican people is because we have the mentality intelligent and the education to know that there's no people more or less We are all the same we live the poor and the rich we love the black end the white PEOPLE
Keep that in mind and remember always you are not more or less
