“Jonathan!!” Lmao I lost it 🤣
It was important for Theon and Jon to have that conversation. It was the final turn back to him being what he was prior to his choice to betray the Starks. His character arc was one my faves of the series.
Even tho the show sped up everyone’s character arcs and some where somewhat questionable? Theons is one im happy with, just wish we saw more of that road to redemption
Mine too and Alfie Allen is masterful playing him. You can feel the torture he’s going through
@@marieclaudeb.2366 yup, theons quivering face showing how he will always be broken, he's just trying to keep moving forward. And Jon encouraging him instead of shutting him down, trying to keep whatever dignity and hope he had left intact. True to Jon's character.
I appreciate his story, but I'm still to salty to like it lol
Yes. Very important
Rhaegar wasn't the mad king, he was the mad kings son, Danaerys's brother. Actually, all we've ever heard of Rheagar is nice (now that we know the kidnapping thing is a lie). He seemed to be kind and honourable and a man of the people. So if Robert could have just chilled a little, this would've probably turned out very different 🤷♀️
Yeah it's sad when you realize that when Robert killed rheagar he was trying to tell Robert to stop 🥲
@@tellmeajoke4645Rhaegar also was rumored to gather support in the tourney to overthrow his father
@@flexorcist30Cause the king was mad?
@@Catherine.Dorian. yea and some other things that might be a spoiler for HOTD. Thats a long standing theory within the book community
@@flexorcist30 I hope the theory is one day proven or not, I fear we will never see the final books. I’ve been waiting to read the series until I know it’s finished but through RUclips I’ve been picking up lore
"I'm going to show you what a wilding taught me in a cave once" 😂😂😂
Yeah, y'all kill me
Littlefinger should have run the second Bran said "chaos is a ladder"
Yep
At least killed Bran
But little finger kinda forgot he was one of the smartest and ruthless player of the game
That's the stupidity of the show writer
34:47 "they're going to be at Winterfell in a day or two!" Actually, WInterfell is quite a distance from the wall, about 600 miles. Of course if the wights could run like Gendry can, they'd be there in half an hour.
😂😂😂 you killed me there 🤣🤣🤣
"How do you plead? .... Lord Baelish?" Perfection. Full points to Aidan Gillan, who played the moment of not realizing what he'd heard, then one of startled realization - all beautifully subdued - marvelous acting.
Yes, he did a fantastic job with his reaction, pleading, pathetic show of emotions. Aiden also played a bad person in the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody "
@@mamakat114he is so great at playing a villainous character, he’s so underrated
Theon had one of the most genuine character arcs of the entire show. He is a Greyjoy. And he is a Stark. He's probably the easiest to understand character arc out of all these grey characters so its pretty wild yall dont see that lol.
''lady sansa, forgive me...which part'' that part always cracks me up. littlefinger did not anticipate for that one🤣🤣
One has to consider Theon's plight. He was a ward of the Starks.. Basically a prisoner. However, Ned raised him. He always had an internal conflict within himself whether he was a Stark or a Greyjoy. He wanted something for himself when he went home to dad. Only to find out he had to make him proud to get his respect. He bumbled things epically. Paid for his sins. However, seeking John's guidance was such a great scene.. John affirming to him he doesn't have to be one or the other. He can be both. I think it gave Theon the inner peace and confidence he needed to move forward. It's a great scene. A second watch through definitely had it hit home more for me. However I've seen the series probably 8 times and love Theon's arc.
Half the fandom: BOATSEX BOATSEX BOATSEX.
31:00 Bridget: "JOHNATHAN" like a disappointed and angry parent 😂😂
I was so happy when Littlefinger finally got taken out. If you think about it, all of the wars and misfortune pretty much stem from him (assisting in the murder of John Arryn is the reason Robert and his family go to Winterfell to seek out Ned.)
Being the mastermind that he was, he went out like a bitch.
I think you mean pretty much all of the happenings of the show, like all of them, stem from him.
He's technically the most successful villain in the whole show.
I mean, while he wasn't directly responsible for many deaths (as he hardly ever bloodied his own hands), his actions lead to thousands upon thousands of deaths. He's probably responsible for more deaths in the show in a way than any other character, than most combined. He was one of the major villains in the show, even if he seemed more "background" at times.
@@mrtwism For the most part, not every single one, but the major conflicts yeah. Obviously he can't control everyone, especially things happening with Dany, but he tried his best with that too.
Bran can see things more clearly if he looks for them and concentrates, he had no reason to look to see if a marriage happened between Lyanna and Rhaygar, once Sam told him about what he'd read he went and had a look to check and there it was. He has thoughts and images of everything that has ever happened flitting through his head constantly so sorting through that lot must be a nightmare, no wonder he's almost catatonic.
Guys I think Theon has gone through more than enough to be forgiven 🥲
His arc is one of my favorites in the show tbh
I mean, I can tell right away you're not a parent lol If that was your daughter or son he hung by a rope with their neck snapped, you'd be singing a different tune
You mean to tell me your mom or dad would forgive him if he did that to you? Not a snowball's chance in hell lol Because what parent would?
Nah lol he always will be trash
The dragons knew who Jon was especially when he touched them.
"I feel like the wall needs more railings." 😂
" I'm gonna show u something a wilding taught me in a cave once" LOL!!!!! .....Oh that Jonathan 😂😂😂
Maester Aemon was talking about his younger brother, who was also called Aegon (Egg for short). As he was dying, some of his earliest memories of his brother came back to him. That Aegon though isn't any Aegon we know of yet from GoT or HotD, but will be shown in "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" upcoming prequel tv show, that will be based on the novels. They are about Dunk and Egg, meaning Duncan the Tall and Aegon V.
That Aegon was his late brother, King Aegon V Targaryen who took the throne after the Meister refused the throne. He was father to the Mad King's Mother & father (yuck) lol.
@@majbrat The Mad King was Aerys bro
@madhursaxena2645 corrected - thx
I think the turning point for Sansa had to be when Littlefinger was pressing her to imagine the worst scenario concerning Arya. “And what would that mean for Arya?” “She would be the Lady of Winterfell,” said Sansa, knowing her breeches-wearing, knife-wielding, assassin of a little sister would no more want that than Ghost would. He overplayed it. Big time. Love your reactions, as always! Peace …
“Why does everyone associated with the iron throne F their family?”
Medieval Europe: [nervous sweating]
I think you guys haven't really paid attention much to Theon's story arch and how he is coming full circle. He has shown the most improvement of any other character in the show.
I think the issue is they watched this in a span of months. Theon was always a stark.
@@thepimp31 Yeah. I've watched this show about 6 times all the way through, and the 2nd time was the best in my opinion because it allowed me to fully appreciate the work that went into every single character, and Theon is at the top of that list. But reactors run through it in a few months then move onto another show making it hard to fully comprehend everything that happens.
💯💯💯
People just don’t like it lol and I’m one of them so don’t mean they didn’t pay attention.
They took too long of a break and as a result of that, they have no idea what's going on lol
The fact that the actor of the character Varys wanted that Varys would be there to see Peter die and was so disappointed how they killed him.
not jon’s full government name 😭😭 31:00

Little Finger finally getting his was everything. I was of the mind that they were both playing him since before she went into his room. B/c I truly don't think, at this point, that she would have not known in her own house that there were other ways out or places for him to hide in the room & she didn't even look. I could be wrong but I like to think they got his ass lol.
Apparently there was a full scene between bran, Sansa and Arya that showed the realisation between them that LF was playing them against each other but the producers thought to cut that out
@@stevenparker3952there was a script where Sansa was about to have Arya killed as well and her being jealous of Jon originally which goes to show how d&d have a weird thing for her
Dragon Pit: The Westeros version of Shark Tank.
In the UK the show is called Dragons Den.
Jons Name is Aegon Targaryen 6th of his name. There were 5 Aegons before in the History of the Targaryens. You will get more information soon. The "EGG" Maester Aemond was talking about was Aegon 5th of his Name. HBOs next new Series will be about him
You only get the number when you are the king of Westeros or else there would have been 10+ Aegons since remeber that Maegor killed his nephew who is literly called Aegon the uncrowned 🙄
Rhaegar son is literally named Aegon. The one they left out the show
@@Cream-2128yeah they made jon it for the show which was disappointing.
The whole just for gold thing for the Hound was bullshit. He would tell you its just for the money but if so why wouldnt he have just taken Arya to the Lannisters. Quickest route to the most money and im sure a paradon for any running away of sieges for such a hostage. He rly cared about the Stark girls
Sansa's character ark has to be my favorite in this show! She was so great in this episode
Sansa didn't "snap out of it". Her and Arya were playing him all along. No way they would let him fool them with Bran around that is able to see everything.
There was a scene in the script that the acror who plays Bran says eas filmed where Sansa finally goes to him saying “i need your help”. His context was it was for this episode where it all came to a head versus some long plot by the ladies. I figured that hbo did bit air it because they did not want to take away from girl power by having a man set them straight on screen.
Actually they were fooled in the script Sansa was gonna have Arya killed before she went to bran
Bad writing across the board then. With Bran there, they should not have ever been fooled at all.
Nighty night Little Finger.
The look on your faces when Sansa asked “How do you plead Lord Baelish” was priceless!! Love that scene like no other.
My absolute FAVORITE!
Exactly!! C&B disdain for Littlefinger throughout the series had me in suspense waiting on this episode! Your reactions are PRICELESS! Sansa, Arya and Bran had all the zingers to put forth and he was begging!
Little finger turned very stupid after the last few seasons. The spider nearly invisible now. Tyrian has been reduced to dick jokes. Sad writing.
I have enjoyed so much rewatching GoT with you guys. You are so much fun! I watched it when it aired, but seeing it thru you has been a blast! I can't wait to start HoD with you. Thank you for all you do!
littlefinger doesn't start actively denying the accusations until sansa brings up ned. he's sidestepping, giving excuses, oh lysa was a troubled woman i did what i did to protect you. but the minute she starts with the betraying ned stuff he Knows he's fucked. bc if he can't shake this accusation he Knows he will die in this room. that's why he starts begging, bc there's no other game to play, there is only begging for his life. and so he dies in ned stark's home, by his daughter's hands
You guys are bringing back all the nostalgia and feels for me. Been enjoying your reviews since Ep 1 Season 1....keep it coming 💯💯💯
Winter is coming. And so is John and Dany.
Littlefinger started the kidnapping story to start the war so Ned and Robert would die and he could have Cat. Same as he started the Lannister Stark war.
Master Aemond had a younger brother who was also named Aegon and he was king. When he was dying he was "talking" to that Egg. There's a series of novellas called Dunk and Egg that are set when that Egg is a boy and they're great.
Also Jon probably isn't going to be named Aegon in the books considering Rhaegar already had a son named Aegon at the time Jon was born. My theory I'd Jon's true name was Aemond, since one of he's heroes is a famous Prince named Aemond the Dragon Knight. It also strengthens Jon's connection to Maester Aemond who was one of his mentors. But this is all book shit so it doesn't really matter.
Little finger showed his hand when he had sansa thinking arya wanted to be lady of Winterfell. I like to think that they were not playing him the whole time, just that he overstepped there because Sansa knows arya better than that.
Bran told them.
Yeah I agree with this take. And then maybe Sansa went to Bran to try to find out more. But that whole Lady of Winterfell bit was definitely a turning point for Sansa. How many times has Arya said that she doesn’t want to be a lady
I agree. The arguments between Sansa and Arya before that were them getting to know each other again after not being close as kids and being separated for so many years. They had to figure each other out to be able to start trusting oneanother. But as soon as that trust was established again and LF overstepped by trying to convince Sansa that Arya wants to be Lady of Winterfell, they teamed up against him.
The Wall is protected by magical wards that Bran the Builder put in place when he built the wall, which is why the dead can't cross it. It took a powerful magical being to destroy those wards and now the dead can cross it. And now its out that Robert's rebellion was built on a lie. He was butt hurt because the woman he loved, loved another instead. And Ned went along with it, kinda tarnishes his reputation. I'm pro Targaryen so I have no issue with Dany and Jon hooking up
As far as the show and the books have shown us... Robert and Ned and the rest of the Starks did not know that Lyanna went with Rheagar by choice, so it does not tarnish any ones rep other then Lyanna, she should have told her family that it was her choice to leave.
Arya was playing the game of faces with Sansa. Asking her all those tough questions to get her true feelings without hitting her with the sticks. Lmao
I always assumed they were pretending because Littlefinger has spies everywhere. So he would think he'd be able to drive a big fat wedge between the two.
I always assumed the writing was just bad.
I read somewhere that there was a deleted scene where the Stark siblings have a meeting and Bran tells Sansa and Arya about what Littlefinger is trying to do (and what he has done in the past). They weren’t playing him all along, just at the end.
I read that as well
Another one of my fav episodes....the roundabout turn on littlefinger is absolutely glorious! Runner up for most satisfying death of the series.
I love when Cody said King's Landing is a terrible place when Tyrion and Cersei were talking about how he stopped Dany from attacking full force. 😂😂
You two do such a great job with this series. I recommended my sister who is a huge GoT fan to watch your series because I know she would love it. Keep up the great work!
Hope you guys come around on Theon. Great reaction.
The primary way the writers killed time after they ran out of books is by taking two characters who either have never met, or haven't met in a long time, and gave them dialog that pretty much just summarizes events from the past.
I am sure the Starks planned it all when they were by the tree. Bran sees things he knows about, he cannot see everything but he can see paths in which way things could go to. So he told Sansa and Arya everything about Littelfinger that is why Sansa sent away Brienne, so she cannot come across the plan. Sansa knew what little finger not knew and that is that Arya NEVER wanted to be lady. They set it up with Brands help, that is why Arya wanted to "train" with Brienne, so littlefinger sees what she became :)
Imagine how we felt watching this episode knowing we had to wait a YEAR for the next season.
More like nearly 2 years omg
I remember dreading how much worse it might get. And then somehow they managed to surprise me.
You guys have the best reactions to anything lol it’s hard to watch any other RUclipsrs reactions, you guys are top tier. Season 8 is absolutely wild. Looking forward to watching you guys react to it!
Littlefinger is so OP he needed Brans magic to bring him down finally
The fact that some people still don't understand that Arya, Bran, and Sansa had a meeting off-screen is so frustrating lol. Arya giving the dagger to Sansa in episode 6 was basically her telling Sansa to go talk to Bran. Bran would've told Sansa about what Littlefinger did, and then all 3 of them would've had to get together to hatch the plan in order to corner Littlefinger and execute him for his crimes. Yet, there's people that think none of that happened.
There is a pattern.
The war of the 5 kings started because the Lannister killed Jon Arryn. Although, well, they didn't.
Robert's rebellion started because Rhaegar raped Leanna. Although, well, he didn't.
The rebellion started because she left with him and Brandon stark went to kings landing looking for his sister and called for Rhaegar head
Every reveal is like two Klumps finding out they got a 20 piece McNuggets instead of the 10 piece they order.
I loved Arya from the beginning. Her training started then and continued with the faceless man. She had more training than just with a stick. Life goes on beyond what we see on camera.
That scene with the snow falling on jaimies gave me some real Zelda vibes
Now we all had to wait almost 2 years for season 8!!!
HAHAHAHAHA THE QUIET CLAPS AND GOOD JOB😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I freaking died😂
35:57 Aemon Targaryen was talking about his brother Aegon V Targaryen, not Jon Snow.
Aegon is the most common Targaryen name. Elia and Rhaegar had a son Aegon a few short years before Lyanna did. But he wa supposedly killed by the Mountain when he killed Elia - "You raped her, you murdered her, you killed her children!"
There's a theory that the Night King has the same seeing powers as the Three Eyed Raven (Bran). He can see stuff happening all over the world. This means he knew about the dragons, and worked to make sure they would end up coming north so he could kill and appropriate them. If you look carefully in the preceeding episode, you might notice there are three of those spears stowed on the horse. Three spears for three dragons. In the end he only got one, but one was enough.
The stark sisters were never dumb.. they learned how to play the game by those who played the game against them.. now its littledick's err.. littlefinger's time to pay up.. lol
I loved Littlefinger, but they took him out in the best possible way.
As always, your genuine reactions made my day 🎉
Sansa sorts out Littlefinger/
Littlefinger asked Sansa
after she suggested worst thing is Arya is here to kill her,
“Then what would she become?”
“The lady of Winterfell”
The turning point- Sansa knows Arya never wanted to be “The Lady” of anything.
And Arya allowed Sansa to find the faces & told her “all I would need is your face”
They did Littlefinger so dirty after Season 4. Everything he did was stupid - giving Sansa away to the Boltons, not realizing that they are onto him, not questioning Arya's and Sansa's "conflict" and in his trial there wasn't even proof or anything, just accusations. He went from by far the smartest and dangerous man in Westeros to a blind clown who said he saw "every outcome" yet couldn't see shit.
You're not wrong. This Cersei really does look like an angry little boy.
I'm in the hospital and seeing a new episode up made my day. ❤️
Hope you feel better and get out soon.
I wish you good fortune in the wars to come.
I wish you a quick recovery, and pray the Mother give you good health.
Can’t wait for 8x3
I really hoped Littlefinger was going to win. I had a mental image of a final shot, first tight on Littlefinger's smirking face, then pull the camera back to show him on the throne, then pull back more to show all of Kings Landing burning
The turn with Baelish and Theon finding his "balls" and yes, I wanted Jon and Dany to get together since the *first season* - that was nice. R+L = J was a theory I'd heard for many years and made so much sense. This was a satisfying episode.
also, you will realize that that there are a stupid amount of targ men called Aegon. Personally, I think Jon was named after Good King Jaehaerys - hence Jon. Can't say much about that, since it ties into HotD. Also, Rhaegar had a son named Aegon already.
I loved season 7. Not sure why people got so pissed about it. Season 8 may not have been my fave but it went the direction I thought it would.

Tyrion had such a great plan. Let's travel to the Wall for a month, catch some undead dude, then travel back for a month, make truce with Cersei who's planning the defence and doesn't have any plans to attack. After we'll trust Cersei's words like idiots, then we finnaly can spend another month traveling back to the Wall to fight the dead. And then we'll travel back to King's Landing for a month to break the truce we just made 2 month ago. 4 month operation - sure, we can fit that in 6 episodes. Or Daenerys could burn the Red Keep in one day.
thank you Bridget for making me laugh at the "what do you think they spend their gold on?" scene

40:32 👈 this is why I watch you guys the most!! You're a lucky man Cody! This laugh is infectious!!!
24:17 I love this from Sansa
We joke about people jetpacking around Westeros, and it is abused in the later seasons. Characters just showing up hundreds of miles from where they were last seen... But it was actually an issue from the very first episode. The dude Ned beheaded in season 1 ep. 1 ran, RAN, from the White Walkers that were at the time well north of the wall, north of Crastor's, well north of the Fist, all the way to Winterfell.
It is 700 miles from Winterfell to the wall, and 1100 miles to Crastor's. They simply did a better job with the writing and pacing of the episodes so that it wasn't so jarring.
Also people didn’t know that at the time since it was the first episode
Just take note how many times Dany mentions how she can’t have children in this season. Then when the whole series is finished look it up
This is when Tyrion betrays Dany. He knows Cersei isn't sending anyone to fight the dead.

Technically Jon or Aegon has a greater claim that Daenerys. Because when the mad king died it went to his first born, Rhegar. Then when Rhegar died it would go to his first born, if not his siblings. Jon is his legal first born son.
I really love this episode. Easily one of my favourites.
There is a lot of criticism online about how Littlefinger dies, but I think it's brilliant.
I love how cute the Night King is when he's flying dragon, I think he looks hilarious. I also see Jon and crew are still using that magic fecking flying carpet.
"she's your aunt, my guy!" I'm dying lmao
I just HATED how they did Euron.... In the books Euron is basically a THANOS type Character. With ambitions of becoming the Dark god Cthulhu by sacrificing one of Dani's Dragons...
Much as I dislike her, Cersei's outfit is 🔥🔥
23:00 i liked your reaction to this part very much, i had to watch it 3 times, or was it even more often?
No maester aemon was talking about his younger brother who’s also called Aegon and was 2 kings before the mad king began to rule…there are many Targaryens called Aegon also the Targaryens a incest house but no not everybody do it because it’s illegal but Targaryens are the exceptions for that law because they been doing it for 5000 years before they even came to Westeros.
