On the note of Astrology, the diet of one's mother during gestation up until birth is, yes, unique to every mother, yet still dictated by the calendar. That goes to say that people born on specific days will have had mothers that shared access to certain foods simply because of the time of year they were carrying. This access to different foods will trigger different reactions within the cell building process of each human being, and those reactions will carry on consequences for the rest of that human beings life. The science that would be necessary to dictate how diet affects human destiny will not be available to us for another century because we are along now getting to the technology that could track a person from conception to death, and we would have to start measuring long before we will see any results whether for or against. The Maya were on to something! Something worth appreciating them for putting so much time in to try to understand.
Do you have any examples of diet leading to certain predetermined jobs? Or can at least share something to look into , i.e. a book or research journals. Pretty interesting stuff.
Cycles of 13 harmonize with sidereal and synodic periods of the main luminaries well. At the end of the day, it seems the celestial phenomenon was driving the system. It was the different celestial body's relitive drift that played a part in different counts and ultimate synchronization. They encrypted celestial movements/cycles into the demensions and orientation of temples and sacred objects, similar to day per inch. There is little difference between what they were doing and what was happening in Babylonia, Egypt, England, and Jerusalem. Building temples, sacrifices, kings, priest, sacred times and geometry, encrypted astronomical magnitudes into narratives and structures. Dimensionally, the Ark of the Covenant was a astronomical almanac, model of the heavens that when understood rivals anything the Mayans were doing.
5:58 Why couldn't the calendar start from an annual solar observation - it doesn't have to be following each year day by day, it could start each year on a particular observation day. It would never be out of synch.
If born in a certain month your personality and behavior will be…. That’s possible to line people up with a month to believe it because of math. The larger the population the greater the possibility that a percentage of people will line up with their month’s stereotype. To include people adapting their month’s stereotype personality because it’s expected. I’m a Leo and Leo’s do this….
Interesting, thanks for this information about the Mayan calendar. In Astrology or natal astrology it is based on the monthly circles, the planetary influences depending on the position and aspects of those planets on the moment you are born, like a map or blueprint. Every person has a very specific natal chart, that’s why personalities differ from each other even when they share the same sun sign… each person has a unique combination of planetary influences, which is specific to the individual chart. You should have an astrologer on the podcast. Take care. 🙏🙏🙏
If the Age began on 11 August 3114 BCE -- the 1,137,167 day before the date 1 January 1 CE -- and if that cycle ended on 12 December 2012 CE (the 734,851st day of the Common Era, counting 1 January 1 CE as Day 1), then that 'Age' lasted 1,872,018 days. Divide that by 13 and you get 144,001.3846 . . . so somewhere Ed Barnhart has come up with the wrong starting date for the Long Count -- or else everybody else was wrong about 12 December 2012 CE being the end of it. 144,000 x 13 = 1,872,000. Going by 12 December 2012 CE being the last day of the Long Count, then there had to have been 1,137,149 BCE-era days, with the 1st day of that Long Count being 29 August 3114 BCE, or 18 days later than the BCE-era date he mentioned. The way we calculate BCE-era dates is by taking the 4-year cycle of 365+365+365+366 = 1,461 days and extrapolating it into the Past, as if the Julian Calendar was in effect. The years 3112-to-1 BCE represents 3,112 years = 3,112 x 365.25 = 1,136,658 days, or 491 days shy of the total number of BCE-era days to account for. The year 3113 BCE was a 366-day Leap Year, and subtracting that from 491 leaves the last 125 days of the year 3114 BCE. There are 122 days from 1 September through 31 December, leaving the last 3 days of August 3114 BCE, a month with 31 days total. Thus, IF 12 December 2012 CE was the final day of a 1,872,000-day cycle (i.e. 144,000 x 13), then 29 August 3114 BCE had to be the 1st day of that Long Count. On the other hand, if Barnhart is right about 11 August 3114 BCE being Day 1 of the Long Count, then the Last Day of the Long Count would have to have been 18 days before 12 December 2012 CE, or the date 25 November 2012 CE. Frankly, I don't remember ANYBODY ever having claimed that the scary day was supposed to fall in November 2012 -- EVERYBODY who talked about it said it was in December, so I think Barnhart gave Lex (and us) the wrong starting date for the Long Count. GOOGLE says that the date 11 August 3114 BCE is in the "proleptic Gregorian calendar" -- corresponding to the date 6 September 3114 BCE in the Julian calendar. Barnhart probably meant this "proleptic Gregorian" date, rather than the Julian Calendar date. Going by the Julian Calendar date 6 September 3114 BCE as Day 1 (there being 1,137,141 days from 6 September 3114 BCE through 31 December 1 BCE), then Day 1,872,000 -- the last day of the Long Count -- would have to have been on Day 734,859 of the Common Era, which was the 355th day of 2012 CE, or 20 December 2012 CE -- not the 12th of December, as others have noted. One other question: WHEN did the Mayans reckon the day had its beginning? At MIDNIGHT, like we do, following the Roman way of reckoning time? At SUNSET, the way the Babylonians did (and, later, the Jews)? At SUNRISE? Google doesn't help when I type in "Mayan Calendar day begins ends" . . .
2012? That was Occupy, Obama's second term, the birth of Wokeism, the seeds of MAGA were planted. So much of our current cultural and political climate started then.

There has been a copy of a maya calendar in our house for many years. Just because we like ancient history and art , But I' just wanted to say the thought of everyone doing what there spirit intended them to be doing would be very beneficial to moving the human race forward. But will never happen greed is always around the corner. Need that major reset that could happen anytime. Comets volcanos nukes.
Everyone doing what there spirit intended? Like a caste system? Who’s this spiritual advisor who tells people what job they get? Kinda sounds like communism. At least if you think about it. Mao idk just speculation
Greed is not human nature. It is the most celebrated part of humanity under capitalism but that doesn't mean it's our nature. In other societies Greed was looked down upon and there were social structures that protected against Greed becoming anyone's "nature".
I think that as quantum mechanics is studied we'll find that signs actually do leave an imprint like a universe gps coordinate of probability, not to mention the specific sources, intensity, and direction of the energy when that imprint happens has to have some trend or regularity or it wouldn't be a thing. The quantum world is legit magic, they were smarter than us
@@codyaguon6767 I think it was for sure, but I imagine most of life would have been near the equator at that time, many cultures talk about a time before the moon.
Our weeks and months are not a natural cycle. The gregorian is a labor and financial calendar. The 260 day calendar is a natural cycle that can be tracked, discerned, and proved. They didn't make it up. Many cultures had the 20 days. Chinese, India and Japan in the east, Egypt certainly had them, and as far north in the Americas as Cherokee have them. In the 260 day cycle, Jung and Freud are born on the same day and number 1 out of 260 shot. Tesla was born on the day of electricity Tijax, which is depicted in the mural for Tijax in the Dendera temple complex using the "light bulbs". Joe Rogan is born on Batz (monkey) and opens his show hoo hoo haahaa. In the solar year which begins on the VE and the Maya certainly know this, the ten day periods are deccans. In one deccan called Archer, you have Ali, Frazier and Foreman, and MLK all born within ten days. Those two natural discernible cycles work together. The Sunstone and the Dendera, one east one west, one female one male, one days one deccans. In the I-Ching the 20 days are the first 20 hexagrams, starting with Batz. In the 260 day, Belushi and Farley are born on the same day one number off. In astrology there is very little to correlate the profound similarities they had in life.
Im glad this guy explained the Mayan 2012 meaning. I think about this often....they predicted the transition into this next phase for 2012...smartphones and social media really began to take off around 2011-12 and no one can deny that the world has been increasingly bizarre since then. ( yes, i know social media and phones were around before then but when it actually began to take over peoples lives)
It was also the time of the "Arab Spring" and all the mayhem that followed, ISIS, the migration waves and terrorism that transformed many European countries etc...

Western media placating the CC. Every chance the church gets, the church tries to talk about human sacrifice, and end of the world. I was a moderator on a 2012 site, and just kept repeating what the Maya were saying. This is one cycle studied for one purpose, found on one stone. As the tourism went nuts in Guatemala, some embraced whatever kept them coming. Always remember who burned and destroyed thousands of years of Mayan knowledge. the RCC.

So what he's saying is only the Mayan recognized that the world exist in over lapping cycles..our cycle the earths cycle the cosmos cycle. When you consider time is space and it literally is affected just between the highest and lowest points on our planet it isn't really capable of determining time in space outside the earth or within ourselves...

At SUNRISE? Google doesn't help when I type in "Mayan Calendar day begins ends" . . .

If the man is a scientist, why not solve the mysteries ? Well, because the church comes for your job if you are in academia,.
Do you know where the sages were summoned to correct such calendar ?
Everyone doing what there spirit intended? Like a caste system? Who’s this spiritual advisor who tells people what job they get? Kinda sounds like communism. At least if you think about it. Mao idk just speculation
Greed is not human nature. It is the most celebrated part of humanity under capitalism but that doesn't mean it's our nature. In other societies Greed was looked down upon and there were social structures that protected against Greed becoming anyone's "nature".

This is excellent.
i always heard that venus has a cycle of 263 days as a morning star and 263 days as an evening star and their sacred calendar was designed around that
Hey lads. Got a question to y'all.
Libs also in your country put in their bios their zodiac and also pronouns such as they do in Brazil?
18:32 lex your so well spoken. It’s amazing how sometimes one sentence can open your mind more than a whole conversation. 🫶🏻
I think that as quantum mechanics is studied we'll find that signs actually do leave an imprint like a universe gps coordinate of probability, not to mention the specific sources, intensity, and direction of the energy when that imprint happens has to have some trend or regularity or it wouldn't be a thing. The quantum world is legit magic, they were smarter than us
Could it be the planet used to spin a bit faster? Say maybe before the moon came? Or some other wild concepts?
The moon came waaaay before the Maya lol
You think life was here before the moon?
@@codyaguon6767 I think it was for sure, but I imagine most of life would have been near the equator at that time, many cultures talk about a time before the moon.

17:00 Maya astrology
Interesting point… wow
It was also the time of the "Arab Spring" and all the mayhem that followed, ISIS, the migration waves and terrorism that transformed many European countries etc...
Where they count 20-hour days?
I think the Norse also went by cycles of nine to line up with lunar cycles taking about as long as gestation.
Notice that the archaeologists correctly refers to ‘the Maya’ and not ‘the Mayans.’
There is no Mayan calendar, but there is a Maya calendar.
13 has to do with the lunar calender. how many moon cycles per year.

Why do people always have to say, "As a Scientist". It is so limiting to an individual.
They say it because that's a scientist's responsibility. I do agree it's limiting

Human gestation is 10 months.. It's 40 wks.
The fertilization happens on the third week.

So how did the december 21 2012 end of the world BS got started?
Western media placating the CC. Every chance the church gets, the church tries to talk about human sacrifice, and end of the world. I was a moderator on a 2012 site, and just kept repeating what the Maya were saying. This is one cycle studied for one purpose, found on one stone. As the tourism went nuts in Guatemala, some embraced whatever kept them coming. Always remember who burned and destroyed thousands of years of Mayan knowledge. the RCC.
it was the end of the old mexika and the start of the new mexika. It’s spiritual stuff.

Thing is, where were the sages convoked to, to correct such calendar? Please fact check, it was in Hue hue Tlapalan, aka North America Ohio Mississippi valley.

Except humans are pregnant for 40 weeks. Which is actually 10 months
Your mum
It is 10 months from conception to birth, for whatever reason the first month isn't counted.
I'm sure in ancient times it took them a month to realize they were pregnant. Much like present times.
@@jasonbrisendine3376up for debate
Wrong. 40 weeks from last menstrual cycle. Most fertile is two weeks after last menstrual cycle so really it is 38weeks. But even if it is 40 weeks, 40/4.345 (average weeks in a month) = 9.2 months. Science.
These comments acting like they have any singular shit of a clue as to what’s going on here must be fake. This man said we’re made of corn.
So you were relegated to a position in life based on astrology. I can’t imagine why they didn’t survive. Best of all many are still using it.
They destroyed the culture but the people are still here
@@prudoctfiles
No a tiny number of native peoples remain in the region and they are rapidly disappearing according to the scholarship. Those that continue to exist don’t live like their ancestors.
@drstevej2527 lmao what a silly argument. Ofc they don't live like their ancestors are we supposed to still be sacrificing people? The genetics still exist even though most of the culture was eradicated is what he is getting at.
@@Tepaneca
That’s the point! 99% of the population no longer exists. The population that remains is diminishing and those that exist are not culturally what the Maya people were. Other than being genetically linked to the Maya they have been wiped out.
There must be a text book or community college where you can audit these concepts.
