- 👋 In todays video we check out the all new and redesigned 2023 BMW 740i!! This is an all new seven series that has so much technology it will blow your mind! The exterior on this 2023 BMW 740i is very bold looking! The kidney grills do keep getting bigger and bigger! And on this BMW, they do look a bit large for the front end and but being all black it works well and has a distinctive look! The rest of the exterior for this 2023 BMW 740i is nice with the sleek lines and flow nicely! The interior on this 2023 BMW is really where you want to be! This particular model is more on the base trim level, but options like the Theater screen is available which is a $4K option! The rest of the technology in the infotainment system and even the screens in the rear door panels is something else! For the technology for the front passengers, it's a new system that BMW has incorporated into their new models! It's an easy system to go through and offers a lot to setup the way that you would like! This BMW even has different driving modes or themes, depending on how you feel for the day! Kind of a gimic, but a cool part of the tech available! This is a super comfortable sedan to drive and it's very quiet as well!
The all new 2023 BMW 740i is honestly a lot of car for the money and also a bargain when you compare it to other vehicles! You are getting the top notch quality, technology and performance from this all new BMW! You can also opt for the 2023 BMW 760i if you want even more luxuries and power!

But it only comes with rear wheel drive in that 6 cylinder engine size, you will need ice tires and sand sacks in the trunk.
This is such a nice car. I've driven older luxury cars, myself, in my life. But a redesigned BMW like this? No! I'm amazed by just the luxury this new car has. Definitely gone a long way since the heyday of both this brand and Mercedes Benz, like the old early 90s C-Class sedan I once drove years back. Wow.

Great review, as usual . . . I haven't seen a seven series interior since I sold my 2000 740 IL - they certainly have CHANGED . . . the cost of mine when it was new was a little over $80,000 ( I bought it when it was two years old for $35,000 ) I would have thought with all the latest technology, the "cheapest" one would be close to $150,000 at least, by now. The price of this one seems like a bargain !!!
Glad you enjoyed this BMW review! I reviewed the 760i and i7 and fully loaded those were around $150K! Not crazy expensive for what it comes with! But sounds like you got a steal for that one!

Yeah it's super clean!
European versions of the G70 are either the 740d xDrive, 750e xDrive, M760e xDrive or i7 xDrive60, depending on country.
The UK versions only get the PHEVs and the i7. Versions in Türkiye only get the 740d xDrive and the i7; the M760e should land in their market later on.

Fully electric cars have zero emissions, but how are they built?? And what do you do with the batteries to dispose of them properly?? They aren't better for the environment as much as people think that!
The 760i did offer a V12 for years!!! They just recently decided to drop that engine for a more fuel efficient and more power engine.
Rear fog lights are mandatory for USA vehicles, so this model has them..
Maintenance cost won't be that much like everyone thinks. I own an R8 and it's just like owning a Camry. Some parts are more expensive yes, but maintenance costs aren't anything abnormal.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Aw, too bad! I wish it had a V12 by now. If I buy a 2018 Toyota Camry Sedan just like a wealthy Chinese person, maintaining the car properly can be a royal pain.
If you have plenty of green to spare, this is a car for you. if you are average spender, don't touch this car used!!!! No B2B warranty? Stay away. It can be a horrible story for you. Insanely expensive to repair. It has more computers and sensors then F-16 jet. I went to look at a new X3, just to test it, I could not believe how much they wanted to lease the damn thing. I just walked out. People are crazy !!!! The X3 is the size of Jeep Cherokee.
BMW is actually 2nd in reliability right now behind Toyota/Lexus! They are reliable cars! (2020 and newer I'd go with). I wouldn't say it's expensive to repair. I own an R8 and it's no different than a Camry, been so easy to maintain. Yes there is a lot of tech but other brands have lots of tech too.

@@Andre55923 I think that’s when Toyota bought part of bmw. Reliability went up. Still not long term cars I would say, maybe 7 years or so.
So I am sitting in my car waiting for my kids to leave the movie and someone can hit the open trunk button and take whatever they want? That flappy cover to the trunk looks cheap. I like the front end more than the back.
What? Are you talking about the trunk button at the back? It locks when you lock the vehicle like any car with a trunk release..

@@realkingrav2265 I've tried man lol, it isn't. This is the E65 7-Series all over again. It gets uglier every time I pass one on the road. In the showroom it's warthog ugly. A shame since the interior is a knockout.

front and rear look out of sync.. , some parts of car look like i have seen them already in other cars some are shocking how ugly and overblown they are. Remineded me on the killer car from the The car.. I saw more basic trim 740d with smaller wheels and it looks far more ugly and out of sync then this one. Mercs are pure elegance this is luxury brick..
That crystal shifter is the ugliest in the auto industry if a American car came out with that it would be the laughing stock of the car industry

This is a very ugly car..
That useless front feature will freeze and break down in countries with sub zero temperatures and crack if you hit something. I can only imagine how expensive it is to replace... It is also funny how car makers made people believe using cheap screens is "luxury" at an extra cost, while in reality a traditional instrument would likely cost more and of course everything is encoded so that you can't replace anything with anythin else than original parts costing 10-20 times as much as actual cost of part.
Sure in areas that it's sub zero, any car would freeze and have issues, not just this model or brand. Wouldn't really be an expensive repair at all to be honest.
And how's it a "cheap" screen? People haven't been made to believe a cheap screen is luxury, so not sure where you are getting that from..
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I driveva regular car with no external moving parts, so there is nothing to break down. This is why people should avoid mirrors that turn inwards, grilles that have moving parts, turning headlight aso. First they freeze and then their electric motors burn. If you think that front grille to that bmw is not expensive, you are definitely an optimist...
@@TechTusiast Guess it depends where you live. But with that logic, I guess you avoid having wiper blades? Those could burn out or freeze..turning headlights wouldn’t be any different than normal headlights either.
Parts are less expensive than you think. I own an Audi and BMW, it’s no different than other cars with similar tech.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed You simply do not turn wipers on when they are frozen. Mechanically turning headlight freeze. Others do not. To give you some perspective, an OEM headlight assembly for a Toyota Camry costs about 400. For a 500 series BMW between 2800 and 4000 dollars depending on version.
@@TechTusiast just because a headlight bulb burns out, doesn’t mean you replace the entire assembly. You simply replace the bulb that burned out..
