I recently bought a deep navy linen chore jacket by Reiss. I thought it was going to be strictly a date night summer jacket but I’m quickly realizing I can wear it with damn near everything in my closet. The work shirt/chore jacket is a must.

This is the way. I'm so happy for you mate, there's nothing like that moment of realising that all clothes are just clothes and they need to be worn to be enjoyed. I hope you get a lot of wear out of it! Also that Linen should patina gradually, I'm sure its going to look fantastic. As I said here and elsewhere, its a must-have-go-to item for me.

We are specifically talking about Australian winter to be fair. But yeah if its -10c, you can wear whatever you want its not about fashion its about survival IMHO.
