Thank you for sharing this video I have the exact same remote with a dead battery that won't charge so now I know how to do it thanks to you have a great day buddy
Thanks a lot. I'm 68 and a hand on old guy just like you. Mine just stopped working just like that even though it seemed to be charging up ok. I took it apart with your help and checked the voltage and it was less then a volt so i ordered the battery from the cheapest place on amazon and i will use my one way remote and drone mobile for now.
2 days ago? I’ve been looking for instructions all day on how to replace this battery and finally found your video and you just uploaded it two days ago. Talk about good timing. Thanks so much. Very good info.
I suggest using a micro USB connector to do the initial prying, and using a guitar pick to finish prying. A metal screwdriver will mar the plastic. Props to this guy for jumping in with both feet. Compustar remotes are notoriously unfriendly, even hostile, towards battery changes.
I wish you had clarified better what the original battery you took out was? Not sure if it is impossible to get the same kind. Thank you for the video. My remote is not charging so I am going to try and get a battery and watch your video again!
