I had a Compustar 8900 AS model... After a week of use I use I went to remote start my car and it started cranking over and but didn’t start but continued to crank over. I had to unhook the battery. But when I unhook the large wire harness off the module my car starts and shuts off fine. The minute I plug the harness back in it constantly cranks over the car. My installer won’t cover it. What can I do....?

I installed a top of the line compustar for under 200 bucks. No drone don't need that don't need another monthly bill. You know these dealers are paying about half what you would for the system and there's all that labor just prophet for a few hours it would take an experienced installer. It's a total racket unlike getting something like a water pump installed there no set labor time it's whatever they feel like charging you. You got an expensive car you look like you got money then the price goes up.

I don't know if anybody else has said it but .... your not telling the people that on a manual car you must leave it in neutral. If you leave it in gear and use this remote it will bunny hop and could cause an accident.
Installers/sellers like you is what make a brand such as Compustar look bad. at 3:16 that inexpensive "all in one" system is expandable, the remotes can be upgraded to "2 way remotes", it is Drone compatible (which means you can start your vehicle from your cell phone) and you can have your OEM fob start the vehicle as well.
CONFUSED: How is the T13 remote such high resistant to water (even dunking into a bucket of water) when the USB port is COMPUTER OPEN to not only dust but of course water. ???

Never did explain how you remote start a standard car which is usually parked in gear with brake and clutch required to start. Still not sure how this would work with a remote system.
Is the T11 Pro vs T12 Pro any different? It doesn't seem too different and my installer does sell the T12 not sure why they opted to do T11. In either case it doesn't seem much different correct? The T11 Pro works well. Went with the 2-way 3 mile. I can still use the car's stock remote to open and close doors. Quite frankly when I am walking up to the car the stock remote opens and closes the door MUCH faster and is much more responsive. I have a 2015 Subaru WRX Premium. I have two codes B1574 (Immobilizer - Key Communication) and B1578 (Immobilizer - Meter Failure). My installer's tech called Compustar and said they mentioned those were considered soft codes. I'm hoping that will not cause a check engine light or has anything to do with my current check engine light code which is P0171. I'll know for sure this Saturday because I'm going to my tuner to get the car checked out to resolve the P0171 code because I cannot figure the damn issue out. I replaced the upstream sensor, cleaned my MAF and IAT sensors, used smoke to try and find leak in EVAP system, I looked over all hoses and fittings multiple times that I can see, used soap and water on various parts. The only thing I did not do is use brakeleen to find the leak but I hesitate to do that... Other than that the datalogs from my tuner do not show anything to be really concerned about they say. I'm just hoping there is no real issue that will cost me hundreds of dollars to resolve... Ugh...

They used to...but no longer. It caused the battery of the car to die to quick because of always monitoring.

Most of the time these days you don't loose a key. Their just needed for programming 99% of the time.
