Good video pal enjoying it.
Love the video Dave nice and in depth think me and my tarp are going to become good friends once I’ve mastered a few setups
Great video mate. Totally understand your point if view, I'm the same. I prefer the hammock where I can see around me and more open
Deffo it feels more wilder
Grate video buddy military kit can't be beaten built to last in that type of environment spot on buddy
Cheers mate I love this stuff fits what I’m about 🙂
Hi good video just subscribed ive got a new channel survival camping tracking etc and still learning keep up the good work 🤟🤟
just joking mate,,,,,good video
If it rains even moderately the groundsheet will collect water and pool under the bivvy, much better just to have the bivvy.
@@GLEN-ys7qt I’ve slept out in it for 3 nights so far 2 nights it rained the only thing that got wet was a slight bit at the entrance where the rain changed direction there was no pools under and the bivvy bag was dry I think if you can set up on ground with a slight slant it will help the water run or what will be included in my next video already ready to drop scrape out around you’re perimeter of you’re set up a slight drainage all way round this will prevent this I’ve done it before works really well as it drips off you’re tarp into the drainage and works it way out of the drainage exit try it next time you’ll be surprised I’ll be posting the video soon though
you could have carried a 4 poster bed in that gigantic rucksack
@@user-sv8vn1be6b it’s a Berghen minimal sleep kit leaves space for maximum good supplies for long journeys on the road also the berghen is a tough bag I’ve seen many ospreys get caught on a branch and rip these are like tanks 👌
I just done a one night survival with only smock and 2 bivvy camps i never use a sleep mat 😂
