    I'm gonna try this set up I like it. Nice badges on your day sack. Bigger channels are too scared to "share" their viewers so never reply for fear everyone will see how it's really done... and see where they steal their ideas from. This time next year you'll be the bigger channel for sure.

    Us smaller channels have to work together, the big boys have had it easy for too long. Have subbed and really like the Gunyah set up, have done some videos of it also, not copying anyone but like learning and trying new things then sharing what I am learning. Tank. First don’t ask how I got my hands on a UK military tarp or the SBS rucksack I “found”. I did use this style when I was in South America and even when I was in South East Africa. You are absolutely proper in saying that this Guiana style is possibly the best setup for a tarp. There may be better but I have not found it yet. In civy street I sometimes add a small controlled fire in the front to cook, heat and keep the bugs away from me.
    Good on ya mate🤪from Canada.

    You made a very nice video here. I only have one question and that is how tall are you? I only ask because it is relevant to the size of the British Army BASHA. I get tired of RUclipsrs copying this and that without a bye nor leave you and then, I find some real obscure channel in a foreign language who credits me with the idea or the video showing something that did exist a long time ago, but had not been properly exposed on video. Anyway, you got yourself another SUB.

      Thank you Robert. I'm 5ft 5inches. The set up would easily shelter a man a foot taller.
      Ye I just don't get these big channels, even us little creators could show them a thing or two respectfully...thanks for the Sub I'm sure if you watch previous videos you will see it's quite informative 😉

      @@outsidertank Best stick to the Bushcraft Playlist as most of the other stuff is when I thought I wanted to be a Farmer. Bushcraft is easier.

    Many of the big channels have like ...1,000,000 subscribers...and some of their videos have thousands of comments ... there's literally not enough hours in the day to reply to everyone ... i don't think it's rudeness in most cases .

      I don't think they even make the effort some of them tbh. I work 60hrs a week have a family and other commitments, if I'm up till midnight I'll reply to every comment..

      And thanks again for the practical and useful videos. Using what’s on hand and affordable is far more useful info. Escape and evasion tips for the drive home are more likely to happen than when you’re loaded to the max with survival gear lol.

    Great video mate, thanks for your service. Any tips for harbour area basha setup? say theres no good trees available but the shell scrape gets in the wayof the basha poles...

    • @outsidertank
      @outsidertank  5 месяцев назад

      Hello Mathew, I'm not really sure what you mean by a shell scrape getting in the way, but if there's no trees, basha poles, trecking poles or couple branches cut to size I'd use personally.

      @@outsidertank cheers for the reply mate. Basically the ground around the edge gets so soft that trying to pin the basha pole in is almost impossible and putting at a slant means as soon as someone touches the basha to get out on stage it collapses. Could be me being a mong but I remember it snapping me multiple times
