It's so helpful to have a youtuber who also lives in germany, those american and english videos are good too but they use ingredients for recipes I can't find in my local stores.

I really love just salting a tomato, like biting into a whole tomato like an apple and just salting as I go. Fave snack!

When you steep tea longer than the recommended time it becomes bitter, so maybe that’s why
I think it would be because of the plastic that most tea bags contain?
Laura C I read somewhere that it‘s because of some bacteria, even salmonella!, in the tea bag, which you can only get rid of with not only hot but boiling water. For people with a poor immune system, like kids, that might be dangerous.
Probably because the teabags have plastic in them which might melt
You are a big inspiration for me and one of the reasons that I feel comfortable with carefully transitioning into a vegan! Your videos just show that you can be vegan and still enjoy the food you love. Thank you for that! oatmeal face masks are really good for sensitive skin because it's anti inflammatory. No placebo, I use them too for when my eczema is acting up, and it really helps soothe the skin.

@@hudahassan7471 I don't know, I would assume not because some contain sugars aso. I think as long as the ingredients are just oats you should be good. You can also get those sheet face masks with oats if you prefer that ❤️

I loved this video. I used to live in Germany and love seeing the shops. Penny is my favourite shop and then rewe. Grapes and wow butter is my favourite snack. Wow butter is a peanut butter alternative that soya based and tastes amazing.
Hi Mina! I was so excited to see your tip about the oats for your face! I’ve been using “oat water” as my morning face wash for a while now and it really has been a miracle! I put about two-three table spoons of oats in a mason jar then fill the jar with warm water and let the oats soak a bit. Once the water has cooled I stick it in the fridge and use it for about a week until I need to make a new one. Then every morning I dip a cotton pad in the oat water and spread it across my face! It has such a gorgeous serum-like texture! Highly recommend to everyone 😬

my favorite weird snack is dipping lays potato chips in chocolate syrup, it sounds weird but the salty/sweet works rly well
Where I live I get to forage for some food/snacks, and we have TONS of Lambs Ears and especially Dandelions so my favorite snack-type-thing in the summer is to go out and collect a bunch of dandelions (and lambs ears if I can find them) and either put them in a salad or make a salad out of them if there's enough.
Sometimes I watch your videos just to relax, you have such a nice and calming voice. It is really pleasant to listen to.

I found a snack called "Hippeas" - they are chickpea puffed snacks that are made to taste kind of like vegan cheetos - Yummy! It was fun seeing both boxes!

We have these bikkies in Australia and like tinned Betty Crocker frosting (vegan) and I dip the biscuits into the frosting, then add some sprinkles. So yummy!

A couple of years ago my friend and I tried mini pickles dipped in store bought chocolate pudding cups and we loved it. Perfect amount of sweet, sour, and salt

Love the grocery haul! I love seeing what’s available in supermarkets worldwide, especially when it comes to vegan options. I don’t think this is that weird, but I like to eat toast topped with avocado and garlic hummus.

5:17 They're actually called "edamame beans" in English. Soy beans would be the raw (undigestible) white soy beans. :)
I did watch the video til the end! So interesting seeing both German and Australian snacks. Can't say I have seen any of those here, except for the Ry Crisp crackers. My mom's family is Finnish, and I grew up eating Finn Crisp (or "hard tack" as we called it). Basically just rye crackers, but so good! Can't say I eat too many "weird" snacks. I do eat a lot of snacks though. Some of my favorites are a seaweed flavored popcorn, Salted Caramel mini rice cakes, rice cakes with avocado and nooch on them, corn nuts (giant puffed corn - very crunchy!), Lara Bars, nut-butter filled Clif Bars, Snap Pea crisps, dark chocolate of just about any kind (lately I have been loving the REAL brand, which has peanut butter cups, coconut dark chocolate bars, faux M&M's....), and Primal Strips (seitan jerky).

My favourite weird snack is a mix of cranberries with rosmary pecans. Sounds awful but it's the best snack ever imho. You can get them from lidl during the holidays 😋😋😋🎄🎄🎄💖

I like these little pretzles dipped in milk chocolate like the ones you can get from Milka. Plus, I do like salt and vinegar flavoured crisps which apparently not many people like.
Of course we watched until the end! The strangest snack I like to eat is chocolate filling Oreos dipped in coffee (super unhealthy lol!). And sometimes I eat hummus too, just straight out hummus with a spoon (am I the only one??)

even though we live in different countries our groceries are shockingly similar :) and I really love those frozen dumplings too! I also recommend putting them in soup like ramen or pho, it's sooo good

And my strange weird food I like to eat is pasta with just oil and garlic. It's not very healthy but so satisfying when you come home after a long day at work and you don't have any veggies lol
My fav snack is lobiani (bean filled pastries) with franks extra spicy hot sauce

Okay I saw somebody put together a little snack which was wrapping a banana Romaine heart leaf with some spicy peanut butter sauce. Seriously a banana wrapped in lettuce is actually quite nice.
I'm American but I love marmite mixed with avocado and jalapeño. Use crackers to dip.
3:10 maybe a bit late but actually all fruit teas have that warning cause they „could“ have little insects in them, so only by boiling hot water and enough time they can assure a save product.
my fav snack for sure would be peanut butter oreos. not so good for your health but really yummy

Watching so late! But my favorite vegan snack is hummus in a box plus black olives? Cuz I guess I’m one of few people who don’t really like snack like cookies and so one? But yeah, love this ❤️ or smoothies, alpro yogurts or coffee for a snack, lol, that might be weird, but I’m not even a snack person, so all of these things are ocassionall and the coffee is the most “eaten” 😂 one
I dont think its strange but my favorite breakfast is dark roasted whole wheat bread with avocado and a really garlicy and spicy salsa with lots of sriracha mayo. People really look at me weird when i eat this a 7:00 o clock!😆🤣

cold rice with vegan mayo and soy sauce! :D also hands down the best vegan chocolate is the „nirvana vegan chocolate praliné“ by rapunzel. unbelievably good, tastes like nougat :)

I made it to the end of the video! My weird snack that I enjoy would be 🤔🤔 hot Cheetos and cheese sauce (like quest). Ive got a gluten sensitivity and surprisingly these things are gluten free 🤣
two of my weird snacks are: plain potato chips and French's yellow mustard and ,not at the same time, dry oatmeal, agave, lemon juice and almond butter.

The warning on teas is because of the plastic that the teabags contain, because when plastic is covered with boiling water, it reduces chemicals (or so I've read, tho i always leave the bag in until i drink my tea haha)
