- In this end-to-end data analytics project, we will take a REAL dataset for employee presence from a company called AtliQ and perform data analysis in Power BI. We invited an HR from AtliQ Technologies who conveyed her requirements and we built a Power BI dashboard for her to help her with employee insights. This project is perfect for your data analyst resume as it is built on a real dataset (and not the toy dataset).

Yeah, same doubt!
In my case, just mentioning on resume helped. However, if you want to give it a more polished look, you can publish it and then provide the link on the resume for the HR to see it.

this project is good and it covers everything important but my challenge was following along you its hard to figure out id you're a beginner cause there's many times I was lost and I had to figure out how and when was this step taken and yeah was a bit great challenge I can say. thank you a lot.

Amazing Project! I enjoyed working on this. However, it would have been even better if the presenter had specified clearly which options he was selecting during the visualization creation part.
Screen is not fully visible sometimes when he is selecting options example at 55:40

Great work ! , My one query is regarding duplicate step , should we not reference query instead duplication. any change in source data should reflect on source data. Guide please!

@Codebasics- thank you for sharing this project, it really helped and cleared most of the doubts. However, could you please check that why you didn't consider the unique days count instead you took total days which include duplicates as well? Request you to please reply.

Can we model this data into facts and dimensions like calendar table, dim_name and Fact_Data ? Because when I tried to create Dim_Name it showed me the following error: Formula.Firewall: Query 'FactData' (step 'Merged Queries') references other queries or steps, so it may not directly access a data source. Please rebuild this data combination.

Hello, thank you for putting this out. I'm a bit confused by an insight that was explained in the video. When Hemanand did the calculation for the WFH% he made an interpretation that was different from the one I had done. He said that that 14.20% meant that on a given day if the company had 100 employees, around 15 of them would be working from home. Whereas my initial interpretation was that on average each employee worked 15% of the time from home during that month. Can someone explain what are the differences between these two explanations? what would be the appropriate calculations for each one of them?

hi, the 2 card 14.20% represents the number of employees WFH on a day out of the total employees present and formula for this is same as used in the video
2 statement for that you can just click on person's name in the table visual and see the updated values in the (card visulasition)

Hi, does anyone know why is it at 1:19:19 the matrix shows the month of June instead of April as we didn't select June in slicer and didn't filter anything?
The matrix does show data of all the months. Notice when he unselects the slicer from June, the horizontal scroll bar in the matrix expands. You can then scroll the bar to view the data of other months as well.

You'd need to delete the "data type changed" step as he explained in the video
At 35:58 We added one col as GetData for the function and we got an error also, at 36:50 we deleted the one step that is "changed type".
can you explain this part? by deleting we got perfect tables then!

hi bro, i have understood that the get data function created based on Template data set and that template data set applied by worksheet filter, so worksheet filter is Apr 2022 but the other sheets does not have Apr 2022 data columns. so here get data function we are invoking for original dataset and if you observe the change type 1 it is the step had power query with april column data that is the reason it got error for remaining sheets. i think i have answered correctly.

You can make customizations. Use slightly a different problem statement in the HR domain, change the color theme, etc.

Move for cloud computing dumies , reality of this job is scary after gpt4 and gtp enterprise , and becoming data scientist is gonna take u re next 3 yrs to 5 yrs and if u re aim is just to earn somehow it's not the option at all for you better move to cloud computing - Cybersecurity or computer Network related .. don't kill you're time cz just bcz of demand people are been crazely doin this .
I believe if you prepare with data professional 2.0 mindset (which is using AI tools to boost your productivity) then job prospects are even brighter for data professionals. I have made a separate video on this, please check that out. You can search using "will AI replace data analyst job" in youtube. Also I do not see any special advantage that cybersecurity or computer network professionals have compared to data professionals. Those things can also be automated. In fact data professionals require a lot of softskills (such as domain understanding, communcation etc.) and some of these things can not be replaced by AI (at this stage at least)
