Amtrak/CSX Thru Ashland, VA

Video taken in May 2016 at and around the Amtrak station in Ashland, VA Featuring Amtrak and CSX trains. Unfortunately, the decline in freight is really evident versus the last time I was here. There was fewer trains and the ones that did go are noticeably shorter.

Maybe I could do a day trip - Septa to 30th St. Stn., the morning Acela to DC, then a Northeast Regional to Ashland. Have lunch, drink a few beers, watch a few trains, then beat it back. I just can't get back to Philly after the latest Septa train home. Would be a cool trip.

Kernal VA Yes all in one day; because I took Amtrak down on train 67 and the next train back doesn't leave until that evening
