Hi! Tamlyn, my sister in law made each family member several drawstring bags in Christmas fabric. We used them over & over each year for Christmas presents . Sadly she had passed several years ago but we still use the bags every Christmas & think of her when we pass them amongst our family members. Saves on wrap as well🎄

The Grainline Studio Stowe bag is one I’ve made numerous times for friends and family. Perfect for crafters as there’s pockets inside to stash stuff, and generous enough to take anywhere if you make the large version!
Fibre Mood do a lovely cross body bag (like a bum bag) which I think from memory is free. I have made one and it works very well. Also Ma Petite Mercerie have a lovely PDF pattern for a bum bag (called a banane in French) for just 2 euros. The instructions on their blog is all in French but you might be able to get an auto translate but there are lots of pictures too and a video. It comes in two sizes and I made the large size which was a pretty straightforward sew.
Hi Tamlyn, I've made the Haralson belt bag and I love it 👌💖. It's such a brilliant size bag for popping out dog walking... which is exactly what I do 🐾. Also great just to nip to the shops with... I'm sure you'll love yours 💖. Some brilliant designs there and new to me... I'll be trying some for sure... thanks Tamlyn 🙏👌😘

Mule tote I have made about 14 at this point for friends, colleagues and neice who asked for '' big enough trick or treat bag to fit lots in'' Another great pattern for presents is the assembly line L:701 bag. Have the pattern for the bestie but need to try it. Great video
Loved this video. I'm into bag making and have all other projects on hold. My current makes are the DIY toddler backpack by Sewing Times, for my grandson.This is a free pattern. His mum is getting the Zippy bag by Sallie Tomato, I'm lining it with the fabric for the backpack, so they will match. I've made the Caravan Tote for my mum and myself and several Vogue V8407 for friends. I would make the bestie bag and possibly one of the quilted tote bags. Thank you ❤
Making the Luna cross body very soon! And you already know my love of the Haralson 🤗 if someone was looking for a backpack style the making backpack by noodlehead is also very good, has 2 different sizes, and is a pretty quick sew!
Bag no.8 looks like the very thing I've been searching for although I'm not sure about the size. I need a bag to carry my karate stuff. One pocket for karate suit and belt, one for first aid kid, chest protectors, water bottle, bits and bobs, middle section for purse, keys and phone! I must investigate! It'd be a gift to myself though!
