My favorite (so far) of your products is the boxy bag, so I wasn't too surprised others liked it too. I would like to see one as a purse with an inside zippered center partition/pocket and inside pockets on each side in the lining. I like small purses, but it would need to accommodate a check book as well as my asthma inhaler. Short, double handles (a handle on each side to total two) would be nice. I have thought of trying to Frankenstein some patterns to make something I like, but I have never even made a purse before😛! I REALLY enjoy your videos. You are such a talented lady. Thank you so much for sharing.
Here's the latest video I did about 6 months ago. I'm probably due to do another tour soon 😁 ruclips.net/video/e0iEKbsVEa8/видео.htmlsi=G1PB1ymgcAFG_ZTa
Thank you Christine, and WOW!!!!😄😂What a fantastic mix of new and older products in your sales. I was pretty sure your zippered bags were going to give the super market shoppers a run for the finish, and love that the hand towels, puppy poo pouchs, and of course, one of my favourite, itty bitty bags got in there. Your tapered bags are amazing as well. As you can probably tell, I am very happy and excited for you and love these videos. Don't worry, your shoppers will never go out and didn't by much, but you have got some dynamite products to offer. ***** all around.
I always enjoy your videos and ideas. The most important thing I learned was that I am charging too little for my work, and that I need to seek out some upholstery fabrics. I often repurpose fabric and clothing. I have been making small zippered box pouches, for small items big enough for credit cards, keys, chap sticks, and some especially for golfers. Again, thank you for your excellent videos. I made several of your accordion folded shopping bags for the grocery store. One cashier called them the Harry Potter bag because so much disappears into what seems to be a small bag. Love it!
Thanks Kathleen. Learning to charge what you're worth can be difficult. Believing that you're worth it is even harder. I still struggle with it myself. Don't be put off by those that say they can make it cheaper. They're not your target market 😀
I admire your curage and above all your love and positve energy. You put your love in everything you sew and I know there is a lot of work and effort put in every single sewing project. Thank you for your videos. You are a great person with big ❤.
Hi Christine, I love all your videos as the instructions are in detail with easy to follow method. plz show us how to make chair back covers that have a side gusset panel. Thank you so much.
I actually just found your channel on one of your top seller videos posted around year ago. I found it super helpful and inspiring! I just learned to sew this year; I would like to make things to sell locally but found myself stumped. Thank you for your videos! 🙂
I always enjoy watching your *top 10 list* and seeing what's been good for you sales wise. Those card holders are on my 'to do' list and I want to make some for xmas presents for family members. I still have some of your older video to catch up on; I'll slowly get there. Hope your arm gets back to normal usage soon 💪 👀 🥰
How exciting, I'm always waiting for your best sellers report. Thank you very much for sharing. Please don´t stop it. Love all your videos. Watch some of them over and over again. That motivates me to sew. (In reality, it motivates me to collect more fabric and then I have to sew😉😇). I also took up the idea of using labels. I started selling this year at small craft markets. My best sellers are cosmetic bags made from quilting fabrics and upholstery fabric swatches. And few soap storage bags and small key pouches similar to your Puppy Poo Pouches. Shopping bags and shoe bags are completely ignored at my place. But mine are always used, I love them.
Hi! I’m on my way home after my travels. I went by your shop but you were closed.😒 I would have love to meet you in person. Can’t wait to get back to normal again. I have been being on line full time. I personally love these videos. Keep the coming?
I look forward to your videos and admire your work. Keeps me motivated! I sew to donate and shall have about 400 cloth reusable menstrual pads freighted of to the Highlands of PNG next week. Keeps me off the streets!😁
Your Top 10 videos are always fun to watch and interesting too. It can be a puzzle what people buy or not. All us humans tend to the strange side….yes?! Lol. Congrats on another great quarter and you’ve been “out of commission to boot!” Double kudos!
I also love these top 10 videos. Please don't stop. What exciting results! Wondering if this includes any online sales or just in the shop and do you have a lot of online sales? Cathy from Nevada
Christine, have you made a tutorial for your hanging hand towels? I love the look of your towels. Would you consider making a tutorial on the towels if you haven't done so already? Thanks for sharing.
I love your videos, Christine and also the top ten best seller ones. Please continue to make them! :-D All of your videos are not only interesting to me, but also strangely soothing to watch and listen to. You are such a lovely person, thank you for sharing your wisdom and skills! And hey- what a surprise about number 1! :-D Very well deserved too!
I love all the stuff you make and love seeing your top ten list. Maybe you could do a video of a tour round your shop and views etc. I can’t see me ever making it to Australia (I’m in UK and winter is coming 😜. It’s very gloomy and rainy outside at the moment ). but I’d love to see where you sell your beautiful things 😊I especially like the “made by Christine” labels 😉. X
I'm probably due to do another tour of the shop soon Christine, but here's the one I did about 6 months ago 😁 ruclips.net/video/e0iEKbsVEa8/видео.htmlsi=2wA2_j62gUUY9yms
Good sales again. Its great shopping bags are still going strong even though they dropped this time. I recon they'll be number one again next month, with summer coming on. Good on you Christine! 😊
Thanks Janet. As much as I enjoyed them falling off their perch, I hope they increase as well. I still have too much fabric to use up, and more to come in December😀
I bought some towels way back when and as yet haven't made any. I need to get on that. Still making shopping bags though. Thanks for sharing an update.
Your blouse is cute. Did you make it? A magnet can affect a pace maker also. When they start wearing out the shopping bags they already have, they may buy more. ❤
Interesting breakdown of sales. I like to see what sells and what doesn't! (Also, as a complete aside, the pale colored top really suits you. Do you make your own clothing also?)
Just curious which zipper method do you like better, the way you usually do it, or the butler method. Your bags and videos are fabulous. I love the repurpose of fabric, and what beuatiful things come from it. I don't knit to sell but am on a limited retired budget so your suggestions on where to get free fabric are fabulous. Thanks.
I'm not sure Sue. I'm so used to using my method that it has become second nature. I'm thinking I'll do a time trial of say 5 bags each with both methods.😀
Haven't seen your videos on this question but if you've not been asked, tell me how do you remove the paper on the backs of the sample book upholstery pieces. They're glued on fairly well and take up a lot of the surface area. Please tell me how???!
I love all of your videos Christine, so thank you for recording them for us. I find your best 10 sales very interesting so I hope you keep recording these episodes. I was wondering if the batch ie colour of fabric also affected the sales, for example, I know you said that one lady bought several of the zipper bags, but I thought the fabric in the zipper bags was the nicest out of all the 10 products that you showed us, so had I been in your shop, I might have bought a couple too. My problem with making bags ( I make as gifts) is that when I make them with a favourite fabric, I never want to part with them!! Do you find it hard to part with certain products?
I often have dificulty parting with things that I really like. My solution is to price the items higher so they sit around longer. Sometimes they still sell too quickly. 😀
Myrna, I have a few videos in my free fabric playlist that might help. I work mostly with sample books, but occasionally I get lucky with larger pieces😀
Well Done Christine. Your products are always so practical and professional looking and also very well priced. Do you use the same supplier for all your personalised labels or do you shop around. ❤ Many Thanks for your videos, always inspiring. ❤
I love to shop around, but hate spending the time to redesign things. I've used the same supplier for a few years now, but am considering something new. Still with the same supplier at this stage though😁
Chris and I both run the shop together Fri, Sat, & Sundays. That leaves us the rest of the week to do our videos and get jobs done. I'll often go home for a quick nap too, whilst Chris often has a shed to quote on, so it works well😁
I sell some products from my website, but mostly from my second hand store in our little town. Here's a video of our store ruclips.net/video/e0iEKbsVEa8/видео.htmlsi=G1PB1ymgcAFG_ZTa
If you enjoyed this video & feel like giving something back to the channel, you can do that here..... www.buymeacoffee.com/stitchthisr
These videos are so informative. You are so sweet to share the bottom line of sewing. Always love your content.
Thanks Ellen😁

Thanks for the suggestion Lila. Hopefully I can tackle something like this in the near future😁
Please take us on a video tour of your shop!!

Thanks Judi. How great was it that the Itty Bitty Bags made it to the list. It's the little things that bring me joy😀
You do beautiful work. The tapestry bags are lovely. I know a lot of ladies that collect antiques and they love all things tapestry.
Thanks Kefir. It's certainly a timeless style😀
Thank you for sharing your success to us! How wonderful.
Thanks Olie😁
No, we love them. It’s so interesting. Thank you.
Glad you like them Ruby. Thank you😀

Great result on sales Christine, thank you for sharing all your knowledge with everyone
You're very welcome Faye. Thank you😁
I love your videos. There’s never too much.
Thanks Lucille ☺️
I love your videos. I'm starting to sew to sell at craft fairs and I really appreciate you sharing your sales information.
That's fabulous Carmen. I hope they're very successful 😀
I love the Sew to Sell Top 10 series.
Thanks Sherrie😁

You're very welcome Emma. I'm glad it's been a help😀
I made a few poo pouch holder items and haven't sold any yet but I sold all of my teeny tiny bags -- I love seeing your totals!
Thanks Lori. I'm glad the little bags are selling for you😀
I always enjoy watching your *top 10 list* and seeing what's been good for you sales wise. Those card holders are on my 'to do' list and I want to make some for xmas presents for family members. Wow! Thanks for the link. I would probably never come out of there! Hope the shoulder is on the mend.
Shoulder is coming along slowly Barbara, but will get there eventually😁
i hope you have a speedy recovery!
Thank you😀

Oh, sorry to have missed you Debbie. Chris and I are away this week. Unfortunately we won't be back in the shop until Friday😁
I look forward to your videos and admire your work. Keeps me motivated!
I sew to donate and shall have about 400 cloth reusable menstrual pads freighted of to the Highlands of PNG next week. Keeps me off the streets!😁
I love that Delka. Thanks for sharing😀
I'm always interested in your sales, please keep doing it.
Thank you. I always wonder if I should😁
I love your videos! Keep them coming!❤
Thank you Marla. I hope to be around for some time😁
I really enjoy these types of videos. It’s always fun to see the comparisons.
Thanks Debbie. It's been a real eye opener for me too😀
I enjoy you sharing this with us thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you😀
Your Top 10 videos are always fun to watch and interesting too. It can be a puzzle what people buy or not. All us humans tend to the strange side….yes?! Lol. Congrats on another great quarter and you’ve been “out of commission to boot!” Double kudos!
Thanks Cyn. That's where batch sewing comes in handy. When I'm out of action, I still have loads of stock available😁
Very interesting to hear. I'm not sewing but can relate to what you said.
Always l9ve to watch your vlogs.
Cheers Daniela
Awesome! Thanks Daniela😁
I also love these top 10 videos. Please don't stop.
What exciting results! Wondering if this includes any online sales or just in the shop and do you have a lot of online sales?
Cathy from Nevada
Thanks Cathy. This includes online sales, though they were incredibly slow. I usually sell through the shop😁
Christine, have you made a tutorial for your hanging hand towels? I love the look of your towels. Would you consider making a tutorial on the towels if you haven't done so already? Thanks for sharing.
Yes I would like to see how they are made too! They are just lovely❤

More to come Elke. I promise!😁

thank you for doing these, i find them really useful and i'm sure you find the data useful and interesting too.
I love data Maj. It helps me keep track of my productivity and value my time too😀
I just love your channel. You've taught me so much!❤
Thank you so much Candy😀

Same here Cynthia. I still have towels from a year ago to make up. I should really prepare for Christmas 🎄 🤔
I don’t sell items I’ve made but I am still always interested in your sales.
Thanks Stephanie😀
Your blouse is cute. Did you make it? A magnet can affect a pace maker also. When they start wearing out the shopping bags they already have, they may buy more. ❤
Thanks Arvetta. I didn't make the blouse. I don't get much time to sew for me these days 😁
These are my favorite of your videos!
That's awesome. Thank you. I'll keep them coming😁
Well done Christine another successful time.
Thanks Margaret😁
Hello, I think the supermarket shoppers are so strong that they last almost forever and you can only buy so many xx
haha, I think you're right Melahat. 😁
Do you have a video on making the tiny tote keychain bags?
Here it is Amy ruclips.net/video/jXebNv-qKr8/видео.htmlsi=fqG_CHpdNsGXug2f 😀
Love these type of vids ❤
I'm so glad you like them. Thank you😀
Interesting breakdown of sales. I like to see what sells and what doesn't! (Also, as a complete aside, the pale colored top really suits you. Do you make your own clothing also?)
Thanks Rosa. I used to make almost all of my clothes, but haven't had the time recently. I'm itching to get back to it though😁
Always enjoy your videos!
Thanks Sallie😁

I've done a couple of videos on removing the paper, but the best method has been with a very hot iron, or heat press😀
Have you ever made project bags for knitting and crocheting? Plus walker bags . I’d be interested in a how-2.
Walker bags are on my list Carol. I've done a few bags in my playlist that would suit knitting😀

Hi Christine, I was given a bunch of tweed and wool. Is there anything you can make with this fabric besides clothing?
How about some bags or an indoor plant pot cover, possibly a dog coat or a dog bed. Hope you have fun with it whatever you decide 😊
Some great ideas Patricia😁
Digi, there's a viewer that sews with vintage kilts. She makes shoe bags, card holders, puppy poo bags, and many other things with them😁
Wow❤ these is awesome
Thank you Shiro😁

I found a lady that had boxes and boxes of book fabric. I brought all that she had. I made bows and flowers for my dogs. I groom
Nb8
That's awesome Michele. They're so great to work with😁
She had some that were vinly or leather. I made butterfly with them
Glad you are not in the store everyday to balance out your life. Do you have other staff or do you each do a 3 day stint separately?
Chris and I both run the shop together Fri, Sat, & Sundays. That leaves us the rest of the week to do our videos and get jobs done. I'll often go home for a quick nap too, whilst Chris often has a shed to quote on, so it works well😁
I only have quilting cotton, will the bags be sturdy enough if not made of upholstery?
You can use quilting cotton Gwen. The fabric isn't as strong, but will still carry a good load😁
where do you sell them? you mention a shop.
I sell some products from my website, but mostly from my second hand store in our little town. Here's a video of our store ruclips.net/video/e0iEKbsVEa8/видео.htmlsi=G1PB1ymgcAFG_ZTa
Your awesome shopping bags?❤
Well well well no 2. Ha ha. Whoop whoop to the zipper bag's ❤
haha, they deserved top spot this time😁
Good to see the itty bitty’s make it in.
I was really chuffed when I saw they'd made it Angela😁
I only buy bags that zip up
That's good to keep in mind when I make my next batch😀
