That's quite terrifying. It was fortuitous that he was picked up by the First Nations guys because it sounds like they were mindful of this creature, and knew why it was so pissed off. Thank you for the stories and looking forward to more.

Thanks F H. I agree, First Nations folks seem to have a good understanding of them, and a great respect as well.

The Chippewa in Michigan have a legend that talks about a tribe that lived on an island around or on Mackinac island. There was warfare with them and the Chippewa from the mainland and most of the island people were killed. The ones that escaped became feral or turned into wild men. They say this is where sasquatch in Michigan came from.

Thanks Tom! Ya the last few weeks have been a ride. I had a couple weeks off between leaving my previous employer and starting with the new company and thought i would get a lot of filming done... i was mistaken... Camera died, got a new cam, then was sick, then all of a sudden was starting with the new company. Was an adjustment working in an office again after working from home the past 3 years. Took some getting use too LOL but im all settled now and will popping videos out!

I v been hearing a lot of horrible reports about the fires in Canada. I hope you, family, and friends are staying safe. These fires are horrific. I cant imagine the devastation that is happening to the trees and wildlife there.

Thanks F H. The fires are a couple provinces over, but i have friends and family out that way. The smoke has been pretty thick here in Manitoba from them. so i cannot imagine what it must be like closer to the fires.

@DarkWilderness Glad you and your family are okay. My heart goes out to Canada. Fires are so devastating for everyone, including the wildlife.

I plan on filming this weekend. Been taking advantage of the nice but not smoking hot weather to get some stuff done around my place so that i dont have to do it in the summer when its deadly hot. Concrete work, land scaping, brick molding. Seems to be one thing after another!

It would be terrifying when someone has no idea what they are seeing and hearing all night long. Sick and having a new job, that's challenging enough, don't be concerned about getting videos out.
Here in Alaska the snow is melting and in a month I should be out in the remote wilderness again. I hope you get a chance to get out into the wilderness this year, it's great for people.
    Take care, Joe

Hey Joe. Oh ill be out. Likely be setting my trail cams next month if the property isnt flooded like it was last spring. Usually spends a few month setting, checking and moving cameras, shed hunting and scouting. Hopefully the ticks arent insane this year... they were a couple years ago. Cant stand ticks, they gross me out LOL
