Tour of Salt Lake City International Airport (OLD TERMINAL)

(10-27-19) Here is a nice tour of the Salt Lake City International Airport. This 1960s terminal will not be here for much longer. In the fall of 2020 the old terminal will start to be torn down in phases. There is lots of reasons why that SLC terminals need to be replaced. Enjoy the tour of the old airport before it’s gone.

I have connected at SLC many times too. I love the new terminal, but I will miss the old one. It had a lot of character and nostalgia.

That Airport was filmed in the movie Dumb and Dumber when that when Jim Carrey was brought Lauren Holly to The Airport in a black Cadillac Stretched Limousine and then she left her briefcase near the escalator when Karen Duffy and Mike Starr tries to pick up the briefcase and and then when Jim Carrey was crashed as rear ended the car with airbag and he was trying to give the briefcase back to Lauren Holly and he fell off the Jetway while the gate was opened.

Today me and my cousin went through the whole airport, (Rental Car Facility, Terminals 1 & 2, Parking Garage, and Concourses C, D, F, and G). (Concourse E was closed.)

I think Concourse E might be demolished soon. I think that’s why it’s closed
